IIRC Cox was the one who tackled the player first and Brown came in for the follow up tackle. At any rate, I’m very dirty on the fact that we have players like Brown who struggle at basic skills.

I’m not even angry because we got what we deserved,When you keep playing spuds who are just not any good,and don’t fast track any kids then this is the result that will always happen.Several of our players just aren’t up to A.F.L standard,and I’ll name them.C Brown,worst player I have ever seen,cost is the game with his pathetic kicking.Brother Tyler,not much better.Mayne,past it.Hoskin Elliott does nothing.Thomas good first half,than did his usual disappearing act.Madgen,tries hard,but no A.F.L player.When you’re carrying that many sub standard players,you’re always going to struggle.

This says it all. How the hell can our coaches not see how poor some of these players are?

The problem is we don’t actually have any small forwards.Elliott is probably our only genuine one,and he’s out for half the season.Another recruiting failure on the part of Hine and co.

Trying to shoe horn players into positions and playing them outside of their natural skill set.

It was about 10 years ago a lot of us on this board were praying for Josh to overcome his injuries to become the inside midfield saviour for the club.

It’s been the same story for years. Grundy dominates hit outs we still lose clearances.

End of the day our midfield cost us the game, even wifh Grundy dominating, hate to suggest it but IMO our current side are front runners, to lazy to put sides away, happy with 2/3 goal wins.

There's no hunger to destroy sides, without that hunger we will see more results like tonight, we had those ****ers on toast tonight and we let it slip, we were lucky Carlton didnt beat us last week, players/coaching staff need a ****ing rocket!!

Difference is Brisbane trust their young brigade, don’t carry list cloggers which have played enough footy and shown nothing, they give them a chance and they crack in for 4 full quarters.
Until we finally turn the corner and just blood all our youngsters we will continue to lose games because our bottom 6 are putrid.
You can’t blame Grundy for the loss, he was absolutely colossus. BOG by the length of my chol and it’s massive.

Now imagine we lost that game by the same margin but fielded Fin, Murph, Jay, Oli, and Beau. I’d be much calmer for the loss and I would know that the club is headed in the right direction, the experience would be sobering for all the youngsters and they’d learn so much from it.
But nope, we field trash like Cal, WHE, Madg, Tyler, JT and lose. It honestly just sucks seeing the same old result every single time.
