It's ,y first year so need a break lol. Wel, mids it depends Fyfe won't keep it up, murphy well he's due and now Prestia will have free license. I think my forwards are good and rucks. I mean I have food midfield depth at least.not my fault they have changed the ruck rule where Nic Nat and mum,y have been two best big men in game and getting **** all, if I had known this then of course I would have gone meg get mids and gone Bellchambers somebody. But I need a starting point to get me back in some good shape.
How do you know Fyfe won't keep it up? Will easily be one of the top midfielders if not thee top by years end. Murphy well he's not due, much better options out there and I'm genuinely confused that you think Prestia will now have a 'free license' now that Ablett is out, it actually means Prestia is far more likely to grab the tag.
No idea why you'd start Adams & Zorko in the middle when you could've started them forward. Westoff won't be a top 6 forward by the end of the year so an extremely poor choice to begin with.
And if Yarran is your number 1 back to rely on you'll be in heaps of trouble.
But hey come on here, ask for advice and then tell me why I'm wrong when I give you some. Good luck champ, one less in my way of the 50k! ;)

All is not lost, you have the main rookies you need, will just have to work on creating $$ and getting in the best premium players in each line to fill your starting 22 out.

Are you playing for the best overall ranking you can get or are you wanting to win the leagues you are in?
Also how much can one expect to make on players, like say a player is 130 grand and averages 80 first three weeks what will that make him? Also so does this mean if my team value goes up by say 200 grand does that mean in essence I can spend all that cash, like al, that profit?

Not to be too harsh but:
* Fyfe will keep it up.
* Murphy's been due for 6 years.
* Prestia will now cop main tag.
* Mummy, maybe. Nic Nat, no, he hasn't been.
* Bellchambers has scored 82 and 61, you'd be even further behind.

May hold fire on my Pendles > Bonts trade due to the doubt. Could do Pendles > Sloane but does not offer the same cash grab as Bonts did. Pendles > Rich changes my teams structure as Rich is no keeper.

Nathan Krakouers likely first game is a bigger SC tragedy than Pendles/Bonts missing a game.

Just dont trade Pendles, even as a luxury trade it isn't worth it.

Along with Ablett and Selwood, Pendles has been one of the most consistent performers over the past 5 years. You have your rookies choices right, just bench Pendles if he doesn't play for a week and take the rookie score. Will probably only loose 60 odd points anyway, not worth the trade.

Please I have all the rookies, what's cost me 200 points has Ben my choice of captain plus another 80 on Oxley on bench. So I'm still in the hunt and no Injuries

You have midprice madness and all the wrong premo's too!

Ward, Cotchin, Murphy, Adams & Zorko in the midfield

I can see you rolling the dice on one of those, two maybe, 3 super ballsy. 5 = Suicide.

3 premium priced KPF's in your fwd line. At least two too many. Possibly 3.

Your backline is your strongest line and it includes Pearce, Brown and a non playing Rookie.

You are in a massive hole my friend.

why would you trade Pendles? if he misses it'll be 1 match, then he'll come back and average ~120
confused.
Why are you trading pendles?

I should of been clear, it is not set in stone just a consideration due to below factors

I have 30 trades and all the right rookies and no issues
250K Cash grab
Will get Pendles back with help of cash grab in r5/r6
No loopholes possible so would have to start Heeney if Cripps not named and he(Heeney) is a big vest candidate IMO.

Madness I know but have/still am considering it. Cripps being named will be probably mean it will be unlikely.

Straight swap to one of Mcintosh, oxley or Saad would make sense. I wouldn't have thought too mant would have missed out on them and not have a 0 they could trade out instead though
I suppose that makes sense. I have the other 3 so probably didn't consider that angle.

You're either very bold or very stupid haha.

Okay, so I'm set on getting Laird this week. Problem is I'm not sure who to trade out for him. Choice of Lumumba, Newnes and Josh Gibson. Leaning towards Lumumba, but Newnes has been disappointing and I'm worried Gibson will now have to play more of a key defender role with Frawley going down.

Thoughts peoples??

Looking at dropping T. Mitchell for one of the following

Coniglio vs Rischitelli vs B. Crouch (out for 5-6 weeks)

I'm in a draft league and im looking for a mid to sit on my bench. Need backup due to Gaz's injury.

Thoughts?

Maybe a Will Langford if nobody has him ???

Swapping mid-pricers for mid-pricers isn't likely to end well, but if you're set on Laird I would trade harry.

Nic Nat **** he killed the blues last week

I'm hoping that you're right on the last one and all those suckers with Gibson get the shaft!

A lot of the times that is true, yes, but Laird is 317k, a defender averaging over 100 after two matches and also scored well in the preseason, so it's no fluke. I've pretty much got all the good rookie priced players with the exception of NVB, so worth a punt. Surely he can't do worse than Harry?

Well suggestions then, god it's my first year Jesus. What's the point is slagging me off, let's face it's it's a game to be enjoyed not obsessed with. So tell me what to do then. Give me a actually suggestion. Yiu do realise if you come say twelfth or last it actually matters little, unless you win the rest means nothing

Maybe. But perhaps he just killed Cameron Wood. My daughter is 5. I'd back her in to win at least a couple of ruck contests against Cameron Wood over the course of a game.
True but he's a gun. Still sort of tol late I'll hold him through hel, just get your hundred average I guess, hoping mummy can sort of get to that point where he's getting 120 consistently.

If Bont doesn't play I'll trade Goodes down to Oxley and grab Bont next week

Only hope, if he's not playing, they announce it early. If he's a late out I'll be left with him and too late to grab Oxley.

Yeah I wouldn't expect him to average 100 for the season though I could see 90 being max with more likely around 80-85 tbh.

My team looks like this:

D: Shaw, Gibson, Hibberd, Newnes, Saad, McIntosh (Oxley, Brown)
M: Fyfe, Pendles, Selwood, SMitch, Wells, Cripps, Heeney, CEY (Vandenberg, Miller, Lambert)
R: Golstein, Naitanui
F: Gray, Bartel, Martin, Swan, Clark, Hogan (Salem, Lamb)

30 trades, 30K

Concerns: Pendles and Wells in doubt (after losing Cripps, Mitchell (and Wells for a half) last week) and a couple of poorly performing rookies (Miller, Lambert). Otherwise Hibberd and Newnes have not looked great and Gibbo will now have to play more as a KPD.

Like everyone, really wanted Bontempelli this week.

Ideas for trades?

Was thinking Bartel -> Bontempelli
and either Cripps -> Rich or Lambert/Miller -> NVB?

Trade rationale:
Never usually sideways a premium (Bartel) but don't have pressing changes and am now satisfied Bontempelli will be a top 8 forward and will never be cheaper, getting a underpriced premium at their lowest and saving me 130K.
Rich usually averages around 85-90 but scored 126 in round 1 and top scored with 100 in round 2 - he is priced to average 62. Playing weak teams over the next few, even if he averages 90, he will go up 100K over the next 4 weeks and be a good stepping stone to a fallen premium (offering more points than someone like Cripps in the meantime).
Lambert and MIller are not making much cash on the bench, Van Berlo (82 & 103 pts) (while an expensive 'rookie' and played in a team that beat up their opponenents so far) plays Melb, WB, GC, StK and GWS in 5 of the next 6 weeks and if he averages 75 (approx consistent with his history) will go up $140K in 6.

Still, pretty sideways. What do others think? Other concerns? No trades? (obviously selection tonight will make a difference)

Sorry to all you Bont lovers but I hope he's out this week. I want to get him before his price rises but I have other priorities. A weeks rest will do wonders for him AND my supercoach side. :D
same :)
