I think if you have avoided the Rowell/Danger issues and have nailed the rookies ie no trades used yet it’s an option. But I think most can’t really afford to waste another trade on a guy who is playing, albeit very poorly.

At what point does the evidence start to outweigh the view that he’s still a premo? Another 3 rounds of this? the bye, the whole season?

All of 2020 and half of 2019 should be enough evidence.
But....Grundy is actually good.
I can't deal with another 20 rounds of Cripps plodding around.
Cripps for Mills seems like a good idea atm.

Will see how Hayden Young goes this week, if he goes well, might trade Dow, move Clark into the mids and bring in Young.

No way I’m trading Cripps. Even if I wasn’t forced into two trades this week I still wouldn’t trade him. If he only averages 100 then that’s a shit sandwich I’m prepared to eat.

Well he's averaging 85 at the moment. Would need to improve dramatically to get to a 100 average.

He's still a premo imo. Merely a beep in scoring fluctuations. He looked a million dollars in the first half last week. He could have 4-5 x 80-90s scores only to follow up with 4-5 x 110-120+ scores. The player you sideways him to could look like a must have in Rd3 due to a hot start only to dish out 90's for the next month after you bring him in. A poor run of form from the top players is usually temporary unless there is an underlying injury. I'm not expecting a 26 year old SP to just forget how to be a good footballer overnight. I know there are lots of ways to SC but I'm of the school of thought that upgrading your on-field rookies should always take priority over shuffling premo deckchairs even if it means my M4 might end up my M8 by the end of the season.

I just can't see it for Dow. The amount of times he tackled and it was broken or ineffectual, just the handball was given off like nothing. He's too weak regardless if he put weight on or not. Just not a very good player at this stage. I think Jordon laid more hard tackles in round 1 than Dow did his entire career.

Round 1 Dow found the ball, kicked a goal just didn’t use it well at times which hurt his score.
Round 2, he used it well, no goals. But didn’t find it enough.

I wonder how many will keep De Goey after scoring 99. I picked him based off a promised midfield role and the fact he scored well in the preseason in that role.
Now 2 weeks in he's back to the same full forward role he averages 80 and his scores are up and down in. **** Buckley. Very likely he's gone next week for me because I can afford to get rid of him for Mitchell.
