One strange thing that I noticed at the ground. We were so slow getting into position for 666 after every goal, we got the warning and then free kick but we probably could have had maybe two other frees against

The umpires were pretty lenient on us, you can see the clock ticking down and a few times the players jogged into position and I think missed the countdown.

Didn't matter much but imagine conceding a free or two for that in a big close game?!

Serious question, do we need better lawyers to defend our players?

Do they actually use a QC? That seems a ridiculous waste of resources, and frankly are these guys really putting the time in?
Surely a less qualified , but more specialized "sports lawyer " could deliver more bang for your buck.

We have/had a QC on our board. That’s probably why he did it.

I'd just have thought that specialist sports observations would be more useful than high level legal points.
Like a Ferrari mechanic from the F1 is probably not the best choice to get a Kenworth rolling.

That’s why I’d hire Bucks. Had some strong points on SEN this morning 🤣

Yeah, Rush, Gleeson cleans him up by invoking prayers about how God fists people for enjoyment or something, it's kind of weird TBH.

What we should do is hire a literal clown, have them front up, make a balloon animal of a horse have it trott around with the clown making shocked face expressions, then, with the opposite hand produce a pin and stand it straight up for all to see that yes, it is pointing up, and have the horse trott over the pin to be popped.

Then the clown can state "I rest my case" and sit down.

The MRP will take that as ironclad proof that Ryder was stationary and Day wandered around like said horse to F himself over by running into a bloke bigger than him, and Gleeson will be gazumped that he'll have to use something on a document instead of his arse, and we'll win the appeal easy.

As you know however, come on down Jack Rush to bottle it like a champ.

Has O’Meara always been an absolute shit truck at Hawthorn? I didn’t realise how poor a player he is. Very slow moving & thinking player. He moves around like a park footballer.

Was never the same after he was injured at GC. Lost all his best traits. He looked like he'd be the next Judd early on in his career.

If we do appeal, can be please use a different QC.

The guy we always uses is hopeless. I dont think we've ever won an appeal with him.

Interesting side note. When the queen dies all QC’s will become KC’s!

Michael Christian. Of all the people to put in charge.... it was like giving a hat to a monkey and making him prime minister. He would struggle to make a decision about which orifice to poke his sandwich in let alone weigh up the subtleties of culpability.
This is:
A) hilarious and
B) 100% spot on

Break a guys jaw with an even poorer action: 0 weeks

Knock a guy out with exactly the same action: 0 weeks

Bump a guy but don't make contact with the head. Guy gets up plays out the game with no concussion: 2 weeks

Guess which club cops the suspensions

Twitter has already cut together the Ryder footage with the nothing to see here English footage from last week.

Just play that video and presenting the MRPs own words as our case and you can see the clear hypocrisy with the decision.

That seems to have been all the rage in recent years... when your talking orangutans in the highest office.....globally!
