I raised playing Heath for Cordy earlier in the thread, but I think with such an inexperienced forward line we need Cordy forward.

Moving forward I believe Caminiti with a full preseason behind him, could become a very good 2nd ruck option. Just watching the few throw ins he has taken he seems to have a good read on his positioning and an excellent leap. It might take him sometime to get to the level of fitness and strength required, but he has shown plenty.
Yeah he's only 85 kilos though bit much for him to be going up against 100+ kg monsters at this stage

The kid is one of our best runners, why would he do a hammy, I think we just need to stop trying to invent stuff, byrnes will just have to step up,

Phillipou?

Way more of a chance than Highmore

Highmore was just a random thought without much to base it on. I'm not attached to my stupid ideas. I don't think I'd throw Phillipou to the wolves though.

You sure are some random crazy bastard at times 🤣

It's slightly crazy but not so much that it couldn't be tried at some stage.

We know he's a natural ball winner, he moves well and marks well.

The thing he probably doesn't have going for him is elite endurance and skills, having said that I think his skills are a little better than some people here make out. Probably more of a decision-making issue and sometimes as we saw with Mckenzie that can improve with a positional change.

He is nothing like Mason except for his blonde hair, just because they are similar in build doesn't mean they are even remotely close as players

They may not be but he doesn't have to be. I never really suggested they were similar.

Anyway, I'm not advocating for the idea just saying it wasn't the craziest I've heard. Looks like they are trying Sharman on a wing in the VFL so it's not like it's that left field.

I like a lot on here had high hopes for Sharman but he has gone backwards since that game in Tassie, he doesn't have the smarts to be a winger,

I have 6k to spend so be nice or you could join him 🤣

Smart from all parties: neither SA club is in an ideal position for the trade, Nas is still pretty new.

Better to see if he can live without his family and grow his support network for another couple of years, maje a name for himself as a player, by that stage if he still wants to go home after that, fair enough and maximum value should be more easily extracted.

Having said that, if I were the club, I'd be investigating ways to bring his family over to the Bayside.

He has agreed to stay so the family issues can't be as bad as was made out , where do you stop if you try and bring family over, I'm pretty sure they would rather stay in SA than come over here

Just reading between the lines here but could the club culture and its recent shift be a factor in Nas staying?
