He's playing reseves for a very good reason. He simply aint good enough.

The real worry for Steamer is he aint pushing for senior Coburg selection, but more struggling to maintain his spot in Coburg twos, interesting to see King and Hislop who were playing AFL a couple of weeks ago, find themselves on the bench at Coburg ?

It's all well and good being a good kick and all, but it helps to actually get the pill. I'd take JON's 10ish possies and 7 effective kicks over Hughes' 100% effective 2 kicks.

Hughes had so many chances to establish himself and so far the best game was the one against Port Adelaide last year when he kicked six. Maybe its time for a trade or will a new coach get something out of him. I dont think Hughes is good enough, as he would have been at at the very least 50 games but hes not . The simple question what or who would they trade for?? Is any other club stupid enough to take Hughes on??
