As a backman I thought Thursfield wasn't too bad, he didn't get heaps of the ball but he beat his man and took a couple of great contested marks... pretty serviceable for me.

Rains & Edwards were disappointing.

i thought edwards was almost coburgs best player. Mustve been watching a different game. A class above all others.

i have to admit i missed the first 3 quarters but in the 4th edwards was on fire, BOG and did everything possible to get us over the line, I also noted with a lot of satisfaction that his disposal was first class, debunks the myth he cant kick(not that i ever thought that, but lots do)

Gilligan, we need another small crumber next year. I like Nahas but good sides have two small dangerous forwards

Watched half the ressies, Cleve was great, Post very servicable looked pretty good, didn't see much of goo may have got injured?, gilligan didn't play that i could see.

Funny that, I'll retract my statement... I just hardly saw him with the ball, yet all reports (from the coach specifically) state he dominated...

Raines definitely had a shocker though!
