Yeah we're polarised though if you were to break down the distribution.

Ie we have old guys and young guys, not many top players in the sweet spot.
I watch you guys fairly often (the blend of rookies and studs for SC is pretty good!) so did actually know that, but it's a lot more fun this way. ;)

Does anyone know if the special buses are on, from Carindale.
I think I saw a couple last week.
Cheers otherwise its a late train ride home .
I'm thinking the game will finish around 10,
The email says they are.

I’m wondering how late you could catch a bus to the game from Carindale?

We really have to positively embrace games like this, considering where we are in our development.

Winning would be huge, but losing can also be valuable in the longer term picture.

Let’s keep some perspective and not throw the toys out the cot if we lose. We aren’t fully baked yet.

Zorko’s absence is going to ask some questions of us.

Port haven’t wavered at all yet, but I think it will be a remarkable experience if they get through this whole hub time without a lapse. You would think it would have to take its toll at some stage - it would announce them as a somewhat extraordinarily mentally strong team if it doesn’t.

In saying that, a win for us doesn’t feel as important as it did early in the week. Geelong in Sydney is less intimidating than Collingwood in Melbourne, and it seems likely we will have Sydney in round 8 which isn’t too daunting.

GWS in Round 7 suggests we'd come back to Queensland and play some Victorian teams in Round 8 I'd have thought?

If we play Sydney in Sydney in round 8 could we go back to QLD and play a Vic team that's been in Sydney and finish out our season against Vic clubs in the QLD hub?

We've played the same teams over the last three weeks but while Port have looked 100% switched on I think we've been at around 80%. I think our 100% beats their 100% so we just need to up our game. Here's to hoping.
OK Pythagoras, I’m convinced.

They're the wrong shape!

The Over 50’s Clique are massive fans of the wafer concept when applied to biscuits. This works equally well with chocolate bars, as evidenced by the popularity of Kit Kat. That said, while most of you are too young to remember, the pinnacle of the wafer concept applied to the chocolate confection would have to be the Tosca Bar, which is used still in a number of ceremonial rites at Over 50’s Clique functions.

So popular was the bar, and the advertisement for the bar, that “He’s gone for a Tosca!” entered the vernacular for anyone who has inexplicably gone missing. The absolute apex of football commentary in days gone by is when a player is described as having gone for a Tosca. Let’s hope Charlie Dixon goes for one tonight.

I liked these, inappropriate now although the ice blocks are still around to this day.

Off topic but meh, I gotta post it somewhere now. Back in Grade...10 I think, one of my friends went to Europe for the holidays and brought home a bunch of stuff.

Including...

Handed these out to all of us...teachers quickly collected them.

Europe has a few of those.
