Looks an absolute star. Great skills & what’s really surprised me is his awareness. He has a sixth sense when someone’s around him to shimmy or quickly dispose of the ball. Very difficult player to catch holding the ball. He looks every bit of a top 3 draft pick even if he peaks as a low 20’s possession winger. We got a bargain.

He's a bloke that you go to the football to see. As you say if he's getting 20 then that will be 20 special moments.

Yeah, he's going really well at the moment. I thought he'd be a slow burn Allison type but he looks like he's owning his spot on merit not charity. We don't get many of those through the club. We are the slow burn kings usually.

Even more impressive when you consider he had a knee injury before Christmas then Covid so he didn't fully join pre season until February.

A bit like Bowey, people are in awe how good they are while being so underdeveloped, but it helps when both teams are winning, but also playing to a defined structure and executing really well.

Not saying he is no good, to slot into that defined structure, get the pill and use it for devastating effect, means natural skill and real football intelligence for someone so young.

he would have looked just as good in our 2016 team but not as good as in the 2022 team

I think the key with NAS is that he was playing sanfl reserves and seniors and looked great in terms of his disposal and decision making. Would love for him to shadow Hilly or Sincs to learn how to get easier ball.
