You're about 2 weeks late on Dwyer, forget him. How about Selwood and Mayes?

How about this?

DEF: G.BIRCHALL, B.GODDARD, B.GIBBS, B.GOODES, D.HEPPELL, L.STEVENSON (D.TERLICH, S.SOLQUHOUN)
MIDS: G.ABLETT, T.COTCHIN, D.HANNEBERY, P.DANGERFIELD, J.SELWOOD, O.WINES, J.O'MEARA, S.KERRIDGE (J.VINEY, K.MITCHELL)
RUCKS: T.GOLDSTIEN, J.JENKINS (S.ROWE, D.CURRIE)
FORWARDS: D. COX, L.FRANKLIN, J.BARTEL, J.KENNEDY, S.MAYES, J.NEADE (B.MCCAFFER, T.LEE)

I like the Mayes option. Do you think Selwood or Watson?

Thanks for the help mate.

So thinking of Putting Cox into my Rucks and getting Andrew Walker and i think i need another premium in my mids...

Viney seems like he is playing injured so looking at upgrading him to Selwood or Cotchin
Yep, you're right, you need another premium Mid. In the meantime though, I'd take Cloke over Walker; in fine form and consistent the past 4 weeks, looks a lot better since Dawes left. If you'd asked last week I would have said Westhoff, but you've missed the boat on that one. Not sure he'll hold his scores, but I took him for the cash mainly.

I think that looks a hell of a lot better, really good side. Personally I prefer Selwood because he gets a lot of contested ball and can just explode. Either/or I suppose, it's personal opinion.

Kane Mitchell is a great one to keep as you can use him for the Capt loophole. Next week, depending on how he goes I'd look at cashing in on Rowe for Gawn, or a straight sideways swap for Currie to make cash. MacAffer is one you can look to cash in on to. From what I've seen, I can't see him holding his spot for long. Keep an eye out for Horlan-Smith, see how he goes, and another big smokey is Kyle Martin for Collingwood. Upgraded from Rookie list and the inside word is he will explode.

I reckon Maloney has got one more week to go beFore trading. I'd go option 2. Leuy looks like a possible keeper and birchall was amazing this week.
Can't see Moloney gaining more than another 20k. He was always just a stepping stone to premiums. I agree Leuy is a good trade, might look at doing that next week to generate some cash as he's unlikely to rise substantially; been very disappointed with Jacobs I must say. Need to get on Mayes this week or I'll miss the boat. Option 1 is Moloney for Birchell and Stevenson for Mayes pretty much, think I'm going to head down that path.

I'd pick Mayes over Evans

I reckon broughton has to go too he's the weakest link. I'd sub staker to def and bring in Cloke.

Then next week trade staker and macaffer for a promising premium and a bubble rookie and you'll be back on track
Great advice all round. I'm surprised Broughton has lasted this long. MacAffer JS pretty bad IMO. Staker you could hold out with, won't be far away.

who first out of these spuds goes in to the deep fryer???

D.Rich
K.Stevens
J.Viney
K.Mitchell
A.Siposs
P.Karnezi

And 512k in the piggy

Could cut the bottom 2 and put in rioli and a.walker leaving the forwards with cox, rioli,a.walker, franklin, JKennedy, Monfires with neade and maccaffer on the bench.

This means i hope both Viney and rich bounce back this week, worth the risk? Theoretically the forward line could then be change free for the year.

At least Sipposs and Greek Salad (Karnezis) aren't losing value. Mitchell is back as a rookie so bye bye to him for sure. Viney could still make b/e next week (remember a week ago he did score 70 odd) Koby is going nowhere fast especially now Boyd is back.
For mind - Mitchell to rookie of choice and Stevens to premium of choice

I have been looking at Cloke, BE is -30 or something as well so if i'm gonna get him, it's this week....

But then i'll have Buddy, Cloke and Kennedy... i've always been against having KPF but maybe this is the exception?

include westhoff and you'd have a nice quaddie

Who do you thinks more vital to get in over the next 2 weeks, Birchall or Franklin?

I'm leaning towards Franklin.

Would then have a forward line of Franklin, Cox, Rockcliff, Bartel, Martin, Kennedy (Kerridge, Macaffer)

Kennedy would then be the only potential upgrade left.

Having said that I only have Goddard and Gibbs as my premiums in the backline with Goodes and the 3 port rookies.

BUDDYYYYYYYYYYYY

Birchall. By the length of the Flemington straight. Buddy's price unlikely to change substantially, so no rush.

If Viney's out I might grab Mayes, but that's about for now. I only have 20K in the bank. Duffield is really testing me, my only premium averaging under 100.

Here's my team atm.

Hanley, Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Goodes, Pittard
(Stevenson, Brown)

Ablett, Pendles, Swan, Priddis, Wines, Omeara, Viney, Jones
(Stevens, Crouch)

McEvoy, Luey
(Blicavs, Currie)

Franklin, Bartel, Cox, Rockliff, Kennedy, Dwyer
(Neade, MaCaffer)

Thanks for the thoughts, will follow it. is it worth POD and going Selwood watson Over Ablett pendles??

Josh Jenkins departing from my side this week, but now who to bring into the forward line (Cox & Luey are my starting rucks). Do I wait until after this week for Dale Thomas to plummet in price, pick one of the Geelong duo (Steve Johnson has only played 2 games but is a chance to hit his B/E of 118 against the Dogs), Chappy obviously the other.

Have 434k in the bank so can afford anyone, is it a no-brainer and pick Buddy? He'll come in at some point but I'm steering clear of Cloke as i already have JJK and don't want 3 key forwards.

Whoops, other forwards are Rockliff, Bartel, LeCras, JJK (as mentioned), Neade, Dwyer & Macaffer

Mayes is really tempting but getting him for a rookie thats still mooing is not want i want to do.Getting him for viney and only making 30K seems bit silly.Need to make some cash and add another gun to my mids hears my team should re call it the team 2100's of spuds.
Goddard,gibbs,hanley,pittard,heath,Bgoodes,stevenson,brown.
Gazz,cotchin,JPK,danger,moloney,wines,O'meara,crouch,viney,rampe.
bellchambers,loony,bilcavs,rowe.
ruffhead,cox,JJK,rockycliff,bartel,frenchy,..neade..mccafe.

reckon you'll end up with all 4 by years - at which stage you get them largely depends on cash and sacrifices you make elsewhere

I reckon KPF's are scoring a bit more consistently this year with the new rules and more long kicking into forward 50 etc.., cloke has scored wellish 4 weeks running so 3 KPF's could be a good move.

Well said your advice to yourself is good! :) and moloney could be a good downgrade option he's got 20k left in him and Mayes and Evans are on the bubble this week.
