Essendon has come to play today. Good teams dont let their opposition score big strings of goals together.

Don't think they've done anything particularly aggressive or switched on. We've just been a bit off more than anything.

They look like garbage ready to be smashed if we lift a bit.

Some positive signs in this game. Essendon aren't much chop either, are they? We're not playing like a top-4, coherent side, though.

We might get the chocolates today but against a good side that quarter could have gone horribly wrong.

Ffs as if they weren’t going to come to play. It’s their mini GF each year 1st up v us. We had to expect this surely.
Yet we look out for a Sunday stroll.
It’s so frustrating.

Disagree we are both applying plenty of pressure they have just been a bit cleaner. It's a scrappy in tight affair and the team that can break away form the contests and score on the rebound better is going to win the game. Right now thats Essendon but there is plenty of time left. Reminds me a bit of the Melbourne game actually.
