Up until 3 quarter time there was some very good signs by some players.

Our fitness is appalling our if it's not that, then the attitude in the last (other than dusty) . Other teams get space because they can run harder to get forward for the easy goals and back to help turn it over.

Fitness and decision making just kill us again and again.

To many kids they are just not up to it.I know we need to play them but Menadue needs a rest.Bring in Lennon... I thought Rioli played a solid game.Corey Ellis improving each week.inexperience and stupid mistakes killed us.Great game from Dusty... overall a good game for 3 quarters

Griffs was ok, Houli is usually good, Ellis was good previous years but shit this year, morris did well during stages too

Griff did a couple of good things but disappeared and applied no scoreboard pressure. Obviously we didn't need a goal at the end we needed the hard one he always misses.

Houli has been woeful all year, usually would be a reference to previous years. His beard is getting in his way and he should be forced to shave it or jog on.

Ellis is just shit now and last year, not sure if he has been over coached or just needs to play in the VFL for a bit.

Competitive for three quarters... might have been a different story if we had kicked straight.

Jeez our poor handballs were costly in the last quarter. Grigg's disposal was scary all night, and very costly in the end.

overall last quarter aside im proud of the boys tonight play like we did in the first 3 quarters and we win more games then we lose.

dustin martin was ******* immense tonight all his haters can suck a fat one bloke stood up like a leader would classify it as one of his best performances in yellow and black 28 disposals 16 contested 6 clearances 5 tackles absolutely ran him self into the ground.

vlas showed why we drafted him and that he is a midfielder not a defender tank is an issue but it is for most of our list.

rioli looked liked he belonged at the level give him as many games as he can handle good for his development.
short we have a player here same as rioli give him games
c ellis had his best game for the year have to play our kids and see what we have.

our year is cooked we cant make finals its time to play mcbean/elton/broad/markov/lennon/chol

get a top 5 pick get games into our kids and see what we have then attack next year with a new coaching regime tactics and fitness guru and get back to finals

Rioli did nothing, has done nothing all year. needs to get good VFL form..

Missing Rance, Cotchin, Conca, Yarran and Grimes. Had 5 kids playing also. So overall im happy. Vlaustin in the guts works. Lids started to get back into it in the third and would be better for the run. We know who the duds are, so wont waste time on them. Really happy with Corey's game. Miles also is back in form.

Last quarter blew out as we ran out of run, expected that with some of our kids.

Yeah Hawks were missing no one themselves....

Cmon mate.

Yep happy with effort of the players, but it simply shows we are a very poor side and that's on the coaches and football admin.

Don't try and sugarcoat what is a horrible outfit.

our fitness regime is one of if not the worst in the comp every other club has gotten fit and ready for the reduction in interchanges and we have been stagnant we really need a clean out of most area's at the club

Would help if we didn't have to work so hard for our goals whilst the opposition stroll into goal for theirs. Both fatiguing and demoralising. Deadly combination come the final quarter and final minutes in quarters.

For three quarters we played a tough contested fast brand of football, you could tell with about 5-10 minutes left in the third that the boys blew up.

Take your blinkers off bud, it's not always the coaches fault.

I'm talking about the start to our seasons, are you happy with our fitness? Our game plan? Why are we 1-6

not going to use our young players as an excuse. Hawthorn had the same amount if not more. Brand, Howe, Sicily, O'Brien, Lovell all kids and unproven. We just weren't good enough in the end
