Add Cotch, rance, grimes, yarran to this team and I honestly think we are ok. I'm more than happy for us to play kids and finish bottom 6, that pick will open up a lot of options and it allows us to give the kids some game time.

Short is a keeper imo, I didn't mind George either with his willingness to take the game on.

Dusty stood up big time and I'm so proud of his effort tonight. He's an inside beast so please leave him there.

Vlastuin was great in the guts and I want to see him there a lot more.

Jack is a gun, even injured.

Lids working back into it.

Rioli is going to be special in a couple of years.

Obviously shocking last quarter but we did ok until then, not too unhappy

-Dusty was fantastic. Our centre square rotations should consist entirely of Cotchin, Martin, Miles, Vlastuin, Edwards.
-Vlastuin was great in the guts. Who would've guessed? Not Dimma apparently. We got belted out of the middle once he was moved down back.
-Miles was very good.
-Happy to have Lids back. He's clearly not 100% but still much better than playing another spud.
-Hampson was great in the hitouts and didn't do anything stupid around the ground. Still doesn't take enough marks or influence the game outside of ball ups.
-Riewoldt was fantastic early on but faded out.
-Corey Ellis is a beautiful kick but he hasn't got the timing on his handballs working at all.
-I don't give a shit what anybody says, Brandon Ellis was good tonight. The unwashed are desperate for a whipping boy and he seems to be bearing the brunt of it atm. Don't let the one or two bad things he does blind you to the many good things he does.
-Sam Lloyd struggled. He's in the side as a crumber but doesn't do much crumbing. Seems to be more of a marking target at the moment.
-Houli, McIntosh and Edwards especially all quiet.
-Ben Griffiths gives us nothing. He's not even a good kick for goal.
-Tyrone was good apart from his kicking being off. Stupid coaching to leave him on the bench for so long. It's no wonder he only gets 8-10 touches a game.
-Steve Morris best game for a long time, although it was still only ok.
-We're still having trouble carrying so many kids: Rioli, Castagna, Menadue give us very little.
-Still can't shut teams down when they get a run on. Rule changes have killed us.

Positive for me was the no fuss belt the footy forward gameplan.
Much better than the shit we served up for 6 weeks.

We tired awfully in the last quarter and got exposed but the heads dropped when Sicily got awarded that ghost goal; couldn't believe there was no review on that.
Plenty of cringe errors but it wasn't through lack of trying.

Vlastuin in the middle my ****ing finally! Keep him ****ing there, was a bull and combined with Martin and Miles beautifully in the guts.

Missing Rance, Cotchin, Conca, Yarran and Grimes. Had 5 kids playing also. So overall im happy. Vlaustin in the guts works. Lids started to get back into it in the third and would be better for the run. We know who the duds are, so wont waste time on them. Really happy with Corey's game. Miles also is back in form.

Last quarter blew out as we ran out of run, expected that with some of our kids.

Just too many kids that are so raw.
Very hard for a team to win when you're playing kids that have so little positive influence on the game. In fact, I'd say they're a liability.

1. Kick the goals when you have a set shot. Vickery missed 2, Jack 1, Rioli 1, Lloyd 1, Deledio 1. Those were the easy ones. Kick those early and it's a different game. The Hawks kicked for goal very well, which made it worse.
2. Hampson - oh well, we weren't beaten in the ruck. OK.
3. I like our new midfielder Vlastuin. Where did we get him from?
4. Houli had the worst game I've ever seen - everything he touched turned to sh*t. Hawks just kicked it to him and waited for the turnover.
5. Vickery is our best small forward. Unfortunately, we still don't have a 2nd tall target up forward.
6. Rioli didn't do much, but he gets to where the ball is and gets involved.
7. TBH Deledio looked pretty average. Possibly still not fit.
8. Edwards hasn't been any good since Buddy flattened him last year. Just sayin'........
9. Lloyd is a seriously dumb footballer - which is a shame because he's quite skillful.
10. I think we should move C Ellis to full-back. He's still got a bit of attacking flair that needs to be beaten out of him. He's developing nicely into a dour half back flanker.

They were ripe for the taking without Roughy, Hodge and Mitchell. Plus being in av form. But we were done by their 4 forwards. Needed Rance and Grimes. Turned inside out too often down back.
Don't think much of Hawks. But we didn't capitalise so can only give us 4/10. Suprised so many are happyish.

The way the game is going Batchelors, Chaplin and Morris's don't exist! That's because teams don't care if you score they just score more.

I'd play Broad, Rance and Grimes next week instead.

Rioli was good tonight, there were a lot more players that were worse than him and should be dropped before him, and they're all senior players.
