Got 400k to upgrade Currie go get a 3rd ruck man, but don't know who.

I'd prefer a cheap one, fallen premium. Options are Nic Nat, Jacobs, Minson or Goldy.

Hey guys, just wanted some different perspective.

Basically going to be getting rid of 1 of Lloyd/Fasolo most likely this week.

Thoughts on who to keep going forward? This position could be my F6 (with who ever doesn't get traded and JKH on bench)

Looking at a downgrade to Billings, or an upgrade to a round 9 Bye premium ideally (Gray or Cyril, I'm not convinced by either). Or potentially Zorko.

Thoughts?

Haha yeh I know, a bit of coin laying there! but I was ranked top 2000 2 weeks ago, dropped to top 5000 last week (due to double downgrade mainly).

I'm hoping to make up ground in the mid season bye rounds. Previous years I've just gone for league wins, this year I want to see how good my rank can be.

Got an aggressive upgrading plan for the byes

Wow that's a deep hole you've dug..... I see 7 kids that need to go: Clurey, Dunstan, Templeton, Fasolo, Impey, JKH, McDonuts.
Now seeing as a lot of these players will lose money if they play you need to choose wisely the ones that you'll keep until you can trade them out, for example if you trade Dunstan and Fas then Impey plays and loses money. I would go one of Impey and McDonuts if you can and upgrade Dunstan. Clurey, Templeton, Dunstan and Fasolo aren't going to play this week so my logic is trde out the most expensive one of them, Dunstan, and of the 3 remaining trade out the one with the lowest CGP (cash generation potential) hope it helps

Im going for Dunstan>Hallahan Impey>Rioli or Dunstan>Watson Impey>Z. Merrett??

Guys I like the form of Big Boy, but SD you're back to playing 1 ruck in round 9.
I have a similar ruck set-up to yours (I have Derickx, you have Currie).

Take a chance on Longer and play him with Sandi until Round 10.
Upgrade Longer (hopefully making you $150k in the process) to Mummy after Round 9.
You will have one Round 10 ruck playing with Sandi out, but this suits me, I don't have many Round 10 players.

This is my plan.

Mummy > Big Boy long term.

I understand the idea, I just worry about Longers scoring capacity and money making ability. I dont think he will make 150K like you said. I think I would rather pick up a premo, set and forget and make an extra downgrade during the byes to recoup the cash going Hickey to premo.

I still worry about Mummys fitness to even last the second half of the season, no doubt about his scoring capacity.

I would have said Billy Longer for value, maybe even to make some dollars out of it down the track, but as a StK supporter you obviously think not.

I had him in mind but the latest on Hickey is that he might only miss a couple of weeks...

And when he comes back Longer will go straight back out I imagine.

Not sure what the priorities should be this week and the next.
Looking to ditch LMac and XEllis, and use Buddy to upgrade some firepower in the forwards.
Any suggestions? $400 in bank from bringing in Swan/Thompson last week and 2 trades remaining this week. Tempted to double downgrade or try upgrade Higgins/Franklin for Zorko

Went McDonald to Cutler and Dunstan to Parker.

Took a risk in trading McDonald and holding Langford because if Cutler is sub again tonight I will have to field Georgiou, but I am gambling Langford is only being rested because it's St Kilda, and I want one more price rise from him before he is traded to Bartel in round 9.
