Not that simple, if both can average 110 from here on out (something they have both done before) you can make up the difference and more in points that a better premo will get you by using the money u save to upgrade elsewhere.

You can pay an extra 100k for Macrae over merrett and he averages 5 to 10 more oover the next 10 games which equates to 50 or 100 points only. If you use that 100k to upgrade a rookie to a premo im sure you can end up ahead of that overall if your premo avereges say 20 points more than ur rookie. For example that could be going Murray to Sicility.
