Ugh, Carnage...I need a hand this week if that's ok?

Did Steele to Fyfe on Monday and planned to trade in Telly as my 2nd trade.

However, got Whitfield, Scrim and Burgess all in my backline and am not keen on a donut and not sure what to do.

Here is the team:

Got 206K in the bank.

A couple of options:

Scrimshaw to Houli, Rich or Crisp (and hope they will be genuine keepers).
Burgess to Answerth (and upgrade next week)
Whitfield to Lloyd (and bring Whit back cheaper later)
Reverse Steele to Fyfe, Constable or other mid rook to Hayes, Scrim to Sicily or Lloyd
Other options?

Ok so I'm a complete idiot and (because I was super busy) left my trades to this morning cos it didn't involve any Pies or Port.

Was set on doing Constable to Ross or Atkins to Hayes and Scrim to Lloyd or Sicily.

Forgot you can't reverse after the round has started.

Now I'm stuck...thinking I may have to go Scrim to Houli (and I don't really trust Houli)

Can anyone see a better option?

Have you considered sideways trading Whitfield > Lloyd/Sicily? Whitfield will drop to 500k within 2 weeks of his return and you could get 2 more price rise out of Scrimshaw/Duursma then do Scrimshaw/Duursma > Whitfield in Rd10 for only 120-130k jump.

As a non-Boak owner, I'm glad he missed his BE last night - but not by much! I need to find a way to get him in my team over the next couple of weeks... Does anyone know what his price could drop to/ BE next week?

Ok horrible week last week saw me fall 10k spots. I have **** all trades 22 total.

Constable to Fyfe is a lock and I am seriously considering Whitfield to Sicily because I don't trust the GWS medical team and I can bring him back in for a 100k discount in a few weeks. Here is my current team.

Is it to late to trade Ross in for 191k or should I look else where?

I was all set to trade Atkins to Hayes UNTIL Constable got dropped... I've got Walsh at M6 (with Constable & Stack also on ground). I don't want to field an Atkins/Gibbons type, even via looping. I can afford Atkins to Ross, so will be doing that... BUT it's more for the points than his money-making since he'll be on-field for me every week he plays. He could genuinely average within 10-15 points of what a Sheed/Brouch could (maybe even Libba & Brayshaw).

So, for most, I think it depends on how many mid premos you have and who you're trading out. If Walsh is at M7, then Ross can be skipped. As for you hamez, I'm not at all sure since you have such a mid-priced madness midfield. I kinda think you've made your bed and now have to lie in it (with Dusty, Brayshaw, Libba, Brouch & Sheed).

Thanks mate - I often see you giving really good advice so I appreciate it.

I did look at that trade but according to TooSerious Whitfield will go down 28k next week and 16k the week after (total 44k) (at his current injury affected average of 108).

At his pre injury average, he will lose only about 30k.

Like the idea but just not sure trading out a premo is worth it for 30-45k (assuming ts has it correct)

What do you think?

His JS is certainly the biggest issue mate. Anyone who can score a 95 and get dropped means there is not alot of security at all imo.

GWS also a very good side with a solid midfield so will be hard for him to hold a spot i rekon.

I have the same dilema mate. My worry is if Hayes gets dropped next week it leaves the mids in a super dangerous place especially if you trade constable to him and left the likes of butters, adkins, scott on the bench. Ross is guaranteed another 3-4 weeks I would imagine and would be very suprised if he wasnt worth around the 300k mark in that time or more. If you trade in Ross I think it has to be for constable so you need to work out whether a trade is worth 100k imo. Adkins to ross just isnt netting enough cash for me unless you have other motives with the trade

FootyWire (which I think is more accurate) suggests he'll go down $48k & then $22k if he scores 108 both weeks. His next B/E is 204, so this seems more correct. Even at a reduction of $70k over 2-3 weeks, it's still a tricky call.

Next week we got Answerth and Larky to look forward too

I am locked and sold on my trades this week though, backline is weak and got Schrim out, keeping clark though for now.

Backline now: Crisps, Williams, Smith, Houli, Durrrsssammmmaaaaaa, Hore ( Ridley, Clark)

too much money on bench, will bring Answerth in and upgrade Petrolsmelly to a premo forward :D. That's if everything goes well....

Tooserious is a handy tool, but not that accurate. If you work on $429 per point, you are pretty close. Whitfield has a BE of 204. If he scores 100 next week he would drop by somewhere close to $45k. I'm considering my options with Whitfield. Not sure he'll be fully fit even if he plays next week.

Unsure which out of lockhart (scoring/js) hately (js) bolton (js) or larkey (js) to bring in as i probably have to bring in one of them to fund my telly upgrade (already have hayes and corbett). Im tempted on marsh but need to see him play first.

Brouch & Sheed > Neale & Ross?

That would leave me with the following:
Neale, Cripps, Fyfe, Brayshaw, Martin, Liberatore, Walsh, Ross (Constable, Gibbons, Hind).

The thing is if you knew for sure its just 1 week you hold but if it's 2 weeks it leans in favour of the trade, especially for me as it involves playing Lockhart on field for 2 weeks if Skrimshaw does not come back into the team.
