I've decided to trade Dunkley to Robertson and Gulden to Boak. I now have 19 trades left and $180k in the bank which next week if all goes well I will have enough to trade Chapman to May and Warner to Heeney. The following week hopefully Flynn plays the next 2 games and Jordan can keep scoring decent it should give me enough cash to trade Jordan & Flynn to Marshall & a Rookie on the bubble. This would leave me with only 1 Rookie on the ground Powell which everyone has and fwd/mid swing Dusty & Robertson and Def/Mid swing Laird & Fyfe and a Ruc/Fwd swing Marshall/Treacy and still 15 trades left. My only other target will be Cerra hopefully will almost be sideways with Powell when he comes back. This will allow me to still have 13-14 trades left for the rest of the year to do any upgrade/injury trades and not have the worry of if rookies are named and copping donuts.

That's a scary looking side mate.

Where are you ranked?

Tex to Thrillthorpe?
Or upgrade Tex to Marshall ....I've only got Walker in Fantasy, but I'm seeing the downward slide there .....not so much in SC, but maybe the ride is coming to an end

I'd be more inclined of going Rowe to Thilthorpe

chapman wont drop much if he gets like 55 or better. BE 69 i think
May 407k, BE 139.
Assume he loses $425 for every pt below BE.
Assuming a flat ton, he'll be 390k, e.g.
Chapman 269k, BE 68.
Assume he goes low again with a 50.
Drops to about 260k.
Conservative gap to bridge: 130k. Likely a bit less ultimately.
That what you were after?

At first I thought this was a premo grab round with the Dunkley cash. But these could be our last heavy cash injections to moo before the byes.

What was up with Devon's score in R4? Different role? Needs some explanation... If that score can be dismissed he becomes must have.

The other 2 seem okay value if you project their averages forward and should be playable on field. Both should see lots of defensive ball... I am hesitant though as they both just gave mediocre scores this round. Whereas big Dev almost tonned up.

Dev also has DPP which makes him more juicy.

Byes should look at too... Right that seals it, Farrar and Atu both have the first bye, FOOK that. Devo can be flicked to a R12 bye premo in R13 e.g. Tobias, hopefully Butters.

#TeamDevo
Yeah, that's the decision.
Could also sideways Dunks to Oliver and upgrade a rookie to a Petracca/Bont type or just sideways Dunks and grab a DevRob type.
Frederick, Murphy (shakier) possible options next week, Worrell the week after maybe if he gets the call-up?
No interest in Thilthorpe at all.
Not sure.

Dunkley -> Dustbin
Heard Dustbin has a foot injury that is hampering his output? You heard this?
Has any clint heard this at all?

Prolly downgrade and an upgrade unless there are two cows to come on the bubble.

who the hell is suitcase? sorry, I havn't been listening to you clints.

Good looking side mate

Of course I do, traded him to the most inspiring captain in the AFL history, Jack Zeebull. Leads by example, head over it, positive football. If I was his coach, his club, his teammates, id be incredibly proud of his performance every week. Has a strong positive impact on the game with all his disposals.

Worried about where cash generation is going to come from. The cheaper rookies aren't that great. Had hopes for Macrae junior but he's been very quiet. Jones now injured. Fredericks longer term security?

Am thinking of Neale to Robertson (who seems to have good JS and scores ok). And then a dead or dying rookie like Brockman, Berry or Campbell to Farrar. Will leave me with a good warchest and some playing rookies into the byes. Plus 22 trades left. They are more expensive, but might work out better in the long term.

Got Clark lurking on the backline bench. He could become Ridley or May next week. Their prices could be very attractive. I have thought heavily about Heppell. He'll still be ok value next week. And Porky Oliver is unlikely to be this low again.

Selections are going to be even more interesting this week.

Here's the plan:

this week:
Dunkley + Berry > Walsh + Dev Robertson

next week:
Gulden + Rowe > Freddy + $600k premo (Oliver? Lyon ? or maybe Houston and leave cash for week after)

week after (if possible)
Kosi + Jordan > rookie + premo (Marshall?)
