Risky but could payoff: Porps for Valenti. Gamble into the 22. Jake Edwards/Matthew Spanger for Jake King.

Sideways to avoid a 0 in the backline: Jake Edwards/Matthew Spanger for David Myers who should get a regular game for us seeing as we have massive injury and crapness problems.

Cash in: Symes out for Milburn/Gilbee/anyone under 510k.

I've been amazed at the lack of Mitchell trade talk on here, given he's very low 500's...
...I went Houli -> Mitchell this week.

Then again, I did notice that he had 31, 000 owners (more than I expected), so maybe no-one's trading him in 'cause they've already got him!

This would leave me with 12 trades and a midfield and Forward line as

Dal Santo, Kornes, Mitchell, Jones, Callan, Bird/Cotchin/Myers/Wellingham (One on field)

Pavlich, J. Brown, Franklin, Riewoldt, O'Keefe/Chapman, Deledio, Porplyzia (Tippett and Gamble)

Any thoughts/disagreements....

anyone think I should NOT do this...and If I do...Myers or Cotchin

Chornes out. Rama out. Emergencies (Tuck and Geary) not playing. Looked at possible trades, but nothing solid this week - a few new players coming in this week, but really want to wait another week or 2 to see how they perform and if they hold their spot.

1 W 2L - obviously with two big fat 0 scores already will have 3L - have I missed any real prospects that I could trade for this week?

Willing to cop a 3rd loss to stick to my game plan of not wasting trades and upgrading through rounds 8-11 so that I can come home strong.

Mate, I have been looking at every other possibly to get Pav, but I can't find a way. I haven't done it yet, so I will have another look.

But, yeah, my forward is my strongest part of my team, and I have only used the 2 trades.

No goals listed agianst his name in paper for last week

Was listed as 2nd best for Sandringham though.

Has been listed in the best 3/5 games so far this season (kicking 3 goals on 2 of those occations)

The way they are going, why would you not promote him?

Is there a spot on the list? Is Wonaeamirra taking Neitz spot or someone else's?

If you only have 7 players in your backline that are playing then you dont have any choice as to who starts on the ground

Any coin in the bank?

I have a dilemma of my own. I'm playing 1 short thus far in the backs, and have Pfeiffer who looks to be maxed-out. S Thompson looks mighty tempting with a forecasted $208k increase if he maintains his average. That trade would save me from playing short, and allow to pocket $100k+, as well as hopefully making future $ from Thompson.

Downside is he's reportedly a great chance to be dropped, and soon. Is there any other backs at rookie prices, that are scoring OK, and as tempting as Thompson?? Have 14 trades left.

I have over $135,000 left in the bank.


Would like to upgrade Houli to Dal Santo or Mitchell next week but thinking that my defence needs some stability. Newman and Jones just arent doing the job.

Would love to upgrade Porps to Riewoldt too. But like I said I think my defence could do with two of Milburn, Gilbee, kenelly, Shaw, Mcleoad, Bock and Stiffy. Those are the premium defenders that I think are the best besides C.Cornes (already have him) Mattner and Bradshaw.

Who would be the two you would target next week? I'd probably only be able to upgrade to one as I'd have to downgrade someone else to get more cash to upgrade another defender out of Jones and Newman the week after.

Does anyone see Newman and Jones getting any better or are they going to get average scores all year now.

I don't reckon Hill's first 3 games were a fluke, personally I can think he can do it again. I would hang on.

But it's hard to say cause I don't have him.
