Dea -> Josh Smith

I could try a 125Ker for some cash, but Smith's BE of -39 should gain more cash over the next couple weeks before I seek to trade him out. Next week might just be a downgrade of either Tippa/Adams/Menadue, gotta start working all these cows out of my team...

Sitting 320 overall though, happy with my first crack at it!

Darcy Macpherson making his debut this weekend for the Suns. 125k midfielder. Scored well in 1 of his 2 NAB games, with an 82, his other score was a 12. I'm picking him purely because he's cheap and the options are really poor atm.

Tossing up 2 options for trades this week. I have Laid, but going to keep him on bench and save a trade, risking it playing Ruggles on ground this week, luckily in my league should be safe
Do I?:
a) Field M.Adams in DEF and get in T.Greene in FWD
b) Field M.Adams in FWD and get in K.Simpson in DEF

Greene av 95.7 3Rd Av 117.7, playing freo, then GC

Simpson av 95.5 3rd av 100.7, playing pies, then port

I am leaning towards Greene, as Simpson is older, may be rested more in later rounds? But Greene has a high average from scoring a bag of goals. Both have similar BE, projected $ rise (not fussed as will be long term) whats everyone's thoughts?

Happy to see I'm not the only one. Hurts now, but once he comes back in it'll be like an extra upgrade that week.

Think I'm settled on:

Dea -> MacPherson
C Cameron -> Biggs

Next job will be to upgrade to Rocky in the midfield.

i was going to get Blakely, until i saw Ross Lyon drop 2 youngsters from last weeks loss. Get the feeling Blakely will be an easy scapegoat over the next 2 weeks against GWS and Hawks

I promised myself I'd get rid of Sam Gray but here I am,
R.Davis > D.MacPherson
M.Dea > E.Yeo

Slight defensive upgrade and Yeo has DPP which I'm lacking in.

The ultimate kick would be if Gray is omitted from the extended bench.
All last year I did the same with Daniel Rich (accepting sub par scores in hope of something, all whilst watching their average points drop each week)

Would go Dea > Smith..... Dea is cooked and versing the swans. You can do Menadue > McPherson next week and make a profit with no guess work

Yeah the Dea trade is more sensible, but that would mean playing Cameron or Ruggles at D6.

Makes the choice easy, I'll go with Cameron at D5 then haha. One of us will come up trumps (or both will score 20).

Ruggles' best score so far this year is at the cattery, so hopefully that's a sign of good things after his rest.

Thoughts on H.Shaw 540k is alot i seem to be paying top dollar a bit. Houli at 45k less i dont mind however Richmond worry me. Vince 517k not bad dont like vs GC at metricon this week though. Matty Boyd could be a go 526k. K.Simpson is 65k less than H.Shaw.

Averaging 95 so should be scoring 80-100 most weeks and wont gain or lose too much money.
I had the toss up between Simpson, Yeo etc tonight (the slightly cheaper defenders)
Went Yeo as he can score big and isn't much of a defender anymore (mid fwd) Can also go completely missing though but we eagles fans hope he's maturing that out of his system.
