Averaging 95 so should be scoring 80-100 most weeks and wont gain or lose too much money.
I had the toss up between Simpson, Yeo etc tonight (the slightly cheaper defenders)
Went Yeo as he can score big and isn't much of a defender anymore (mid fwd) Can also go completely missing though but we eagles fans hope he's maturing that out of his system.

geelong have been miserly so far in giving up fantasy points to the oppo, i'm holding off on Yeo for 1-2 weeks until his next 100+ score...given he's had tonsillitis and has the cats away this week. i've decided on Rich instead... which might bite too with Beams back...but they play port who have been leaking points to the oppo.

You're a Crows supporter so I'm guessing you already have him, but if not, have you considered Brodie Smith? I'd choose him over Rich and he's cheaper.

Dont have to take my advice but id go against Yeo just for this week. Wait on him.

Have a look at GWS run they have freo and gold coast 2 of the worse sides with gc at their home. Then dogs at home. After Adelaide and Geelong there run after that is extremely easy.

I really dont mind Simpson either i think he could go very well over the next 6 rounds leading to his bye.

Rich is actually avg 101 + without that injured game. He didnt play the entire last quarter albeit was being heavily tagged. Thats 2nd best of all defenders this year. The worry for Rich is having all of Beamer, Rocky, Robinson and hanley back together in same midfield someone misses out

I like B.Smith aswe though. But with Vince and Kelly getting added to defenders i thibk you cant be having these guys that will avg 85 you need 90-95 + guys such as Shaw, Boyd, Vince, Kelly, K.Simpson, Houli ect and maybe Kolo

yes, I looked at Brodie and still preferred Rich who has had one hampered game where he scored a 36 getting tagged/injured?, but i'm also casting an eye toward the bye rounds and my structure heading into that...probably wont be much difference in them really...

does someone miss out? i'm not sure. Seems to be a larger spread of midfielders this year with the rotation cap.

With 110k in the kitty.

Will be looking to get rid of Tipungwuti + Menadue, McCarthy, M.Adams, Frost to a rookie and hopefully K Simpson

Quality rookies are becoming light on though now. Sort of glad tucker got dropped he could be an option i like but i wouldve thought freo would play kids at all cost

Or might have to try get Rocky

seems Ross is reverting back to what he knows...shut them down...will be interesting to see how they roll from here in...its sort of a last roll of the dice for this year.

Less time i mean.

yep, with rich's booming kick i cant see him being plonked in the forward pocket for a rest, you just have to have that weapon available on a back flank / extra in defense, which should see him around the action and hopefully getting some +6's on the cheap while resting... that's my hope anyway.

Hes already admitted they cant make finals. Saying they would need to win 13 of the last 16. Maybe trying reverse psychology but without the best player in the comp and 2 of their most important structurally in M.Johnson, Sandilands for some time it makes it impossible.

I think its more about not gifting guys games if they dont perform or give effort.

They should be 0-8 then youd think just play the kids. After GWS they have the hawks.

Yeh i started with him i think hes a great pick. Avg the 2nd highest excl that injured game from defenders.

I started with Johannisen, Hunter, Duncan and Rich so im not sure how i got off to a slow start all were unique aswell ha and IMO were pretty much must picks. There were other mid options though but even Gibbs/Viney are avg 103 which were my alternatives.

Im wanting to get Rocky in but im really worried im gonna get burnt by his body not holding up.

M Crouch > Rocky
M Adams > D Macpherson

The lack of good rookies really makes things hard, was going to trade in Dunkley but he's been dropped so we can scrap that. I'm trading in Josh Smith but at 200k I'm making almost no cash by bringing him in. I'm quite stuck on two options and would love to know what others would do in this situation.

Trade A:

Conor Menadue -> Josh Smith
Ryan Davis - > Darcy MacPherson

Menadue and Davis have had their runs but realistically neither will make me any real money from here, Ryan Davis is now struggling to even hold his spot in the side. Issue is this leaves my backline looking incredibly week. I'd have Shaw, Fantasia, Mills, Adams, Dea & Walla/C. Cameron in my backline, I was hoping to improve my backline this week. This trade does leave me with 200k in the kitty which could seriously help me improve my backline next week.

Trade B:

Conor Menadue -> Josh Smith
Orazio Fantasia -> Bernie Vince

I'm unsure if I'd be jumping off Fantasia to early but if he continues to play the role of a small forward he has pretty much no scoring potential, he's been named on the forward flank and Mark Baguley has came back in which doesn't help the chances of Fantasia playing down back. I'm leaning towards this trade because I can always jump on MacPherson next week if he does well. Another potential way I could do this trade is trade George Hewett to Josh Smith and I could then get Matthew Boyd in rather than Bernie Vince. Hell, I'll even give an option three.

Trade C:

George Hewett -> Josh Smith
Orazio Fantasia -> Matthew Boyd

I'd love to get Boyd but I feel I may be chasing points a bit to much here Hewett has a BE of 32 and is playing the Bombers where as Menadue plays the Hawks tonight and has a BE of 46.

Would love other peoples thoughts. :)

Darcy Macpherson making his debut this weekend for the Suns. 125k midfielder. Scored well in 1 of his 2 NAB games, with an 82, his other score was a 12. I'm picking him purely because he's cheap and the options are really poor atm.

Im also looking at getting him in. Whats his JS like?

I'd love to get Boyd but I feel I may be chasing points a bit to much here Hewett has a BE of 32 and is playing the Bombers where as Menadue plays the Hawks tonight and has a BE of 46.

Trade C due to Boyd being so reliable for getting over 100 with the amount of injuries they have sustained down back. I was going to put in rocky but I'll wait another week to see how the Brisbane team will play in regards to getting Dayne beams back so I'm getting Boyd in for marcus Adams and Sam gray for Darcy macpherson. Gives me a backline with Shaw,Boyd,Houli,Simpson,Mills,Wagner

I like Rich but I just think he's more susceptible to getting tagged, plus the Crows are a better side than Brisbane. Personal preference though, both will be good picks.

Sam Gray out fellas.

faark.

I will keep adams 1 week and hope he puts on a marking exhibition as I need points and already have Laird on the pine. Trades changed to:

Gray > Zorko
Dea > Cox

Leaves me with 85K.

How did you manage to do dea to m.cox?

I had both Tippa & Adams in the forward line. So cox is going on the forward bench and Tippa goes back.

Works out well, because I have Tippett in the forward line, so if Cox & Currie stay in their teams, I wont cop a donut in the rucks. In hindsight, I should have selected him on the ruck bench to start with

Unsure what to do for my second trade, have 117k in the bank.

First trade was Dea to Smith through DPP. Options for the second trade are:

Smith to Lycett (low BE, good scores, stepping stone to Goldy).
Gray to Rocky (means I miss Lycett)
Double downgrade - potentially Menadue to Macpherson.

Thoughts? Would appreciate some help with this one.
