Considering we’ve done a fair bit wrong it’s also a sign of how much we’ve done right to be leading at half time. Defence has been excellent.

The way we play this year really makes me feel like someone has taken Ross Lyon and Al Clarkson, and put some scifi brain swapping machine on them in the preseason.

It genuinely breaks my heart to see us repeatedly bomb it into the 50, lock it in our forward half for the majority of the quarter and score 0.2 while GWS waltz forward three times for 2.0.

Happy with that half.

When the game opened up they looked more dangerous, especially around marking contests.

But -kept the might GWS to a halftime score of 28. That's bloody good.
I mean, our halftime score isn't huge, but it's better than 28

In a wrap that is a very good half from where we were at the last few weeks!
Have looked better with the ball and quicker ball movement.
g.w.s have a strong defence its hard to get around. Jaeger had a hard tag and we are doing okay loosing the clearances but our ball use is okay.

Been a good half - stayed competitive and to not be scored against in red time is an improvement.

Their last goal came from a massive shove in the back taking Sicily out of a contest.

We are playing well. Need to be more careful with our inside 50s and some of our clearing kicks are more rushed than needed. But looking good so far.

Hendo and Worps have both been excellent in first half’s then not so effective in second halves this season. They need to keep things going in the second half for us to win.
