Change of plans.

McInerney > Dangerfield

Brown > Greenwood via Budarick

Going to grab Greenwood over Lloyd now as Lloyd has his bye coming up in a few weeks.

Plus Greenwood will most likely go up $25k with a score of 119 or more where as Lloyds break even is 133.

Leaves me with $139,500 where I can hopefully go King > B.Smith next week.

Mayes v Egg v Day v McKay

Egg - better JS but more exp and not as much cash gen
Day - cheap but has bye with Sicily and Doc
Simpson - hopefully stays in now with extra injuries
McKay - ??

Anyone talk me out of Ben McKay? I need a DEF rook.

Posted this in the other thread.

22yo. Solid JS now that Thompson is gone, backed up by NM board. $146k. 86 from only 5 touches. Twin brother is best 22 at Carlton.
Surely is bound to improve.
Only need 60's from him to gain value, with another 80 in there to boost him to $300k.

Day is $50k more, and now has Scrimshaw back in the team. Unsure on Day's JS, McKay's JS looks stronger.
Egg is $100k more, and despite his excellent score last week, I really can't afford to bring him in.
I already have McPherson.

Someone care to refute any of the above, and tell me why McKay is a bad option for DEF? (Only need a DEF)

Assuming you can afford all of them, my preference would be the Egg. Bit more expensive but more likely to score than McKay and Day, and in a more valuable position and has more runs on the board (this season) than Mayes.

Who would u trade in?
Bont, macrae or patracca

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
Petracca comfortably. Best BE of the bunch and will probably end up the leading forward in the competition. Can maybe afford to wait on Bont, though Macrae will be tough to get.

FWIW Thompson = Josh Walker

Josh Walker is not a bad egg, last week Walker was moved forward, maybe he stays there, maybe he doesn't.

Ok. So thoughts now are:

McInerney and Green out. Both not named in emergencies, even with bulk changes to their teams.

Looking at one up one down and ideally in the forward line. Thinking Petracca over Smith. Gives me one more look at Smith, and they should rise similar amounts anyway.

OUT: McInerney and Green

IN: Petracca and TBC

No, not Tom Bellchambers. I’m looking for thoughts on the best rookie. DPP means they can come from any line, ideally I’m looking for 4 week JS plus scoring potential

Sam Mayes? Or maybe McKay?

Here’s my team as it stands, advice would be rad:

Are you looking to take McKay out of desperation, or because he's a good Rookie ......seems you're trying to talk yourself into choosing him

I'd go Day myself, just mindful of his R10 bye .....I'm not concerned for his short term JS
