Going very vanilla this week.

Wines > Priddis. Tempted to go to Deledio, but that extra $100k is just too much to pass up on.
Neade > Staker. Needed a cash cow up forward, Staker's job security gives him the nod.

Forced to sit on Stevenson for the week, but he'll lose the least of the Port 3 if he doesn't make his B/E and it gives me a week to wait for Birchall to be ripe for the picking.

Next week:
Stevenson > Birchall
Lucas > Selwood/Swallow/Mitchell or hopefully Deledio on the off chance he doesn't demolish Melbourne.
Stevenson> birch if not enright, dufffy same trade I'm eyeing off unless steveo really spuds it all up.

Wines > Kennedy (Lonergan not scoring well enough for his price)
Heath > Hanley (Would have been Stevenson but that would leave me with a donut)

Have Gibbs, Shaw, Maric and Thomas on the pine this week.:oops::mad:

Not getting Cokehoon in this week now due to probably not playing.

Going to go Hartlett (spud who cant handle a tag) > Ben Kennedy (via Vlastuin mids to backline)

Then going to go Neade > Franklin

Team will then be as follows -

B - Goddard, B.Goodes, Vlastuin, Turlich, Stevenson, L.Brown (H.Shaw, Pittard)

M - Ablett, Swan, J.Selwood, Kennedy, Cotchin, Dangerfield, O'Meara, M.Jones (B.Kennedy, Crouch)

R - Goldstien, Leuenburger (Gawn, Daw)

F - Cox, Rockcliff, Bartel, Franklin, Martin, Kennedy (Dwyer, Macaffer)

* Have mid/forward link now on the mid bench with B.Kennedy and thinking just before byes to cash out M.Jones and move Vlastuin back to mid bench so I can have back/mid and forward/mid links on my mid bench to combat the byes.

Thoughts??? o_O

is nroo too expensive right now? got heaps of cash been tossing up so many different trades :/

thinking of griffin to hannath and if rowe doesnt play cop a donut (ivan is my other ruck) and wines for watson
or
griffen move cox to ruck and bring in nroo(or any fwd of my choice), then wines to bken. both trades leave me with lots of cash to upgrade evans/omeara to watson next week and a def downgrade for a def upgrade the following week. then nic nat should be ripe for picking by the week after that....am i thinking too far ahead?

Went Neade to Kennedy
Then Daisy to Priddis (not wild about this one, but it makes me avoid a Krispy)

Will re-assess tomorrow, thinking of coping the Krispy and going a double downgrade....

Daisy's price won't change next week because he ain't playing right? (Noob qu's I know, but I don't know SC that well).

Doing my head in.

If I go Thurlow and Daw this week I can do double upgrades next two weeks (Priddis, Franklin, Johnson, Birchall).

But something is telling me to bypass Daw and move on Stevie this week.

Maybe I'm just impatient.

Daisy > Staker
Pittard > Hanley

Goddard Hanley Goodes Terlich Vlaustin Laird (Gibbs Docherty)
Ablett Pendlebury Swan Watson JPKennedy Dangerfield Jäger Wines (Viney Crouch)
Cox Blicavs (Maric Currie)
Martin Bartel Franklin LeCras Mayes Macaffer (Staker Lee)

Thurlow's Job security ?

Anyone?

Long term job security is crap however our next 4 games after the Pies are Port, GC, GWS and Brisbane, and they'll definitely play him in all of those, which should be enough to get him to a point where he can be cashed in.

With Hunt out with a collarbone, Kelly suspended and Chappy missing again his J/S over the next month would seem strong. I'm concerned he might get vested - any ideas Pure Ownage?

Currently tossing up between him and Justin Clarke.

I think Schroder will get the vest again, unless Hunt gets it first game back.

But yeah, a second gamer is always a chance for sub so can't rule it out.

TBH I rarely take Geelong rookies in my SC teams but since the rookie options back and fwd are so poor at the moment, he's not a bad bet.

Would be thinking he's too rich to chase now and probably pointless. If dont have already prob best to consider him gone coz all the KPF's will fluctuate more wildly than mid types in terms of price and consistency is rare...consider also his mob wont win that many and if he's staved by a thrashed midfield for just 1 half of footy he'll instantly cop a score that will weigh his price back down for a few weeks. Would be looking for pullbacks in others or chase more midfield types in the fwds you can pick up that are in form...riewoldt will pullback to a buy zone 520-550K sometime the next mth...too easy to waste these most important early gains on rookies by overpaying for primo's about to top out. They'll all have no choice but to dbl and triple team him and easy to do coz they have no other KPF's to worry opposition.

Guys like Martin/SJ/Bartel/Walker/Rockliff/etc etc obviously Franklin and even Cloke in a week or two if u want a KPF are much better value now coz that horse has bolted imo.
p.s...yes i might be talking out my arse due to liking the POD i've been getting with him :D

Priddis straight into DT, but bypassing in SC. Swapping Wines to Watson next week. Cash trades only this week. Trying to stick to the midfield plan and not be led into temptation.

Omeara >>> lonergan
Neade >>> Franklin

Bit early on Omeara but already have 7 premium mids and need the cash to dump Neade this week and Byrnes next week for hopefully Naitinui or Cox.

yeh thought so. is SJ still good value? or should i go for a bartel and take the extra money. not sold on dusty doing this good all year

It's interesting that the commentators pronounce his name that way. In the past that spelling has always been pronounced Col-cohen. I wonder how he and his family say it.

Meanwhile the team selections couldn't be much worse. I'm trading out Hawkins and Hartlett this week and Treloar next week so they go and drop Treloar. With Viney and Crouch also out and no suitable dpp to move I'll be left with a donut. I could trade Treloar this week and leave one of the others till next week but that would cost a fortune in lost value. I'll take the donut, but not happily.

his grandfather haystacks used to be a wrestler :) (google him)
