Definitely looked. Not sold on him however, how good are your persuasion skills?
He is the most creative player in Freos defense. He has averaged around 100 a couple of season a go. The only worry is if McPharlin misses a lot of games. I traded him in last week for LMac.

Any reason people are not looking at Michael Johnson as a unique

Best SC season was an 89 ave in 2012, FWIW.

I think Johnson will be solid especially with McPharlin's fitness being on and off again. Might be a beneficiary from the kick in (kicks to self often) and he does have a sweeping role to scab a few marks.\

Will feature in my final backline, eventually.

Definitely possible, I've gone from around the same mark over the last few weeks.
R4 Overall 38556
R5 28763
R6 19145
R7 7499
Carrying similar underperforming "premos" Enright, Dusty, Roughead, TMitchell. Just trust that they will get the job done, there's a reason you picked them at the start of the year. Also had plenty of failed mid pricers Caddy, Sutcliffe and Webster (just down up them when good options become available)

Webster is the last of my failed spud day 1 picks that I still have left (Caddy, Rohan, McDonuts all gone)

So looking forward to going Webster > Swallow next week to rid that worm ridden piece of filth out of my team. :rainbow:

Freo playing at 75% johnson needs 22 possies to score95+
He is the cyril of defence
Kick to handball ratio is excellent

Can't decide between trading to Robbie Gray or Dalhaus.... very similar averages, Gray an extra $20k, Thoughts?

I'm leaning more towards Gray, Although Cyril is another option?

Basically need a round 9 BYE forward, going to be with me for keeps.

Why is there so much love for Hurn? Has only averaged over 90 once in his career and is an inconsistent scorer and injury proned.
I used to like Hurn especially in 2012 because he had the knack to score a 85+ on so little possessions so even if he had a quiet day you got a respectable score from. He was doing quiet well when he didn't get injured this year, 97 and 99, small sample size I know but he is definitely worth looking at when he drops further in price for D4-6.

Bruest?

If you can get Cyril i'd go Cyril. Im not really up with Gray but Dahlhaus looks like he could be a forward keeper gets midfield time, tackles and bobs up for a goal or two a game.

Bob Murphy on appearance seems like a bargain
Noticed he went off the ground during last weeks match, anything to be concerned about?
How come he isn't scoring that well, is it purely rust from returning from early season injury?

can't think of a time bob murphy wasn't returning from injury.
He's like the Shaun Higgins of the Bulldogs.

I'm not aiming for no.1 overall mate.

I'm just trying to finish as high up the overall rankings as possible. :thumbsu:

Like I said before if I can get to 6,000 overall in the next 2 weeks that will be like being in the top 600 for me considering where I have come from with my slow sluggish start to the season.
Where are you sitting right now? I came in from a very sluggish start, 42k at the end of round 2 and am sitting at 1,781. Few consecutive weeks of 2250-2350 scores and I stormed up the rankings, even a 2160 in round 4 moved me up 8k spots from 20k to 12k. Probably too late to think about 1st place but I'll be looking to get a Top 500 finish this year hopefully.

Yeah also another one to consider. He has not only been kicking goals, but setting them up too.

Yeh Cyril looks the goods. I'm just concerned about Cyril floating in and out of games, but that doesn't seem to matter for him. He touches the ball 5 times and gets 100 SC points.

Missed 3 games last season and the 3 seasons prior he missed a total of 3 games. So I don't know what your getting at he might carry a niggle here or two but he gets up pretty much every week.

21,878 overall

Opinions please.

Is it worth a Rd8 trade of?:

Mitchell>Suckling
S.Gray>Hartung
Buddy>Ambrose
445k bank

To allow rd9 trade of:

Tyson>Pendlebury
Crouch>Selwood
L.Taylor>rookie

Bonus is I get to keep Polec.

Team before rd10 trades would look like:

B: McVeigh, Hibberd, Hanley, Swallow, Suckling, Langdon (cutler, Georgiou)

M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Watson, Selwood, Murphy, Beams, Polec, Hartung (Buckley, rookie)

R: NicNat, Sandi (currie, king)

F: Dangerfield, Nroo, Martin, Wingard, Pavlich, Lloyd (Impey, Ambrose)

I dont get the trade out Sam LLoyd for a RD10 bye player? LLoyd will continue to make cash (he drops his 23 game shortly) and will eventually make it to about 350K (in about 5 weeks I reckon) -
he's nowhere near cooked
and that extra trade is gold

Taking that into account I guess I'll scratch the 3rd trade and only make two this week

he is a pretty consistent scorer imo, his floor and ceiling are close...
also for just a little over 400k he looks very juicy
