Team selections tonight didn't help at all. I'll have to wait until Sunday teams are announced to see what I can manage.

Whitfield still out is corn holing me dry.

 You need some sense slapped into you .....Walsh reliable, Westhoff maybe back ....need another 2 performances IMO
Don't get far sitting back. Need to take the risks.
Traded libba out last week to Fyfe.
Now everyone trying to get rid of him
Westhoff will help me during byes and Walsh I'm expecting to drop off

Probably:
Petro to Answerth, via Drew
Collins up to Laird

Would love to reach up to Fyfe but a little short on cashola unless I cut someone good. Thinking (by which of course I mean hoping) Gibbons, Clarke, Parker have more money to make. Also thinking I want Walsh and Gibbons all the way into byes, even if they’re at max dollars now, so I can cash em in at round 14.

aarrgh I can't decide between the double down with Answerth and Corbett or the 1 up/1 down with Answerth and a premo

We might get the Ham sandwich next week as a downgrade option, so I'm thinking the 1 up/1 down is the right move
Exactly same position for me. Hopefully Ham keeps his spot

Utterly ridiculous that Whitfield can go from 'more than likely' to not even selected on an extended bench for a game 3 days away.
Thank the lucky stars Kiera Moore can be swung back meaning Drew comes onto the field up forward. Not a complete loss since those two have been handy.

Still Clark to Answerth and Gibbons to Bont. Trigger pulled. Done.
Next week will just do a downgrade somewhere for cash since I only have $4k left. Miers has taken Drews spot on my field I can afford to downgrade one of them and not lose out too much sacrificing an upgrade.

Go and create history you splendid campaigner you. :moustache::thumbsu:

Ohhhh it's happening :moustache:

Ok with Hately now out of the equation I'm tossing up between:

A) Libba & Gibbons for Answerth & Fyfe/Bont; or

B) Gibbons & Petruccelle for Answerth and a value fwd under $430k like Menagola (cheap as chips)/Gunston or Westhoff.

Thoughts please?

Depends on which line is weaker and your bye splits. I'm going to assume that you have Petruccelle on-field so B)

Not happy with "Son of Gull" being such a poossay. Only consolation is Zilliams up 30pts a game till he returns.
Gull got a heavy check from Hipwood last week and noooooo problem, bit of a squawk then ran off with the ball.

Who is Dylan Moore? Scored 74 in his 2nd game, on the bubble.

Hawthorn small forward who had a ripping VFL finals series last year that propelled him into contention for a spot.

Didn't do enough in JLT2 to get a Round 1 spot which was our dress rehearsal.

Was a late replacement for his first game but was good last week against Melbourne with some of his efforts proving really popular (set up a few team mates for goals whem the game was on the line and was swamped by team mates)

Fairly settled on the following:

Clark to Answerth
Libba to Cameron (Danger to mids)

$73k in the bank for a rainy day

Hard to get a gauge on his js. Clarko doesn't really have a good recent track record of blooding rookies for extended periods of games. In saying that with roughie dropped and lewis holding down full foward, he may be changing his approach. I'm weighing up him and corbett currently, swaying towards corbett.

I wanted Tim Kelly last week at his low point but had to change plans with Whitfield and Scrimshaw out.

This week I have upgraded Drew to Kelly.

Can't help but wonder if it is more prudent to upgrade Libba to someone like Bontempelli (or other mid keeper).

I went with the first option to minimise onfield rookies and Drew will not make much more cash with the intention of upgrading the stepping stones last (including potentially keeping LIbba as an option through byes).

BUT Libba has just lost 26K and is set to lose another 20+ this week whilst Drew will be worth the same. I may get more long term valut by turfing Libba now and upgrading Drew later.

Thoughts?

I'd get rid of Libba, hardly any tackles in the last few weeks. Role change, fatigue, mixture of both, whatever it is, he's down big time. Yes he could go 150, but from the info we have in front of us, looks done. Take the $160k and run
Drew will get a lot more midfield time this weekend with Wines gone, I'm expecting an 80+ score and a $10k-$15k increase

most likely going danger > westhoff.
bank the coin, bring him back in 2-3 weeks for 460k or whatever.

be able to go one up to full premos for the next few weeks.

Wilkie > Answerth

Libba > Fyfe

Sad to see the back of Wilkie who has been a solid cash cow for me but it was out of him and Duursma and Duursma has been slightly better.

Not sad to see the back of Libba though, he's been a trolling campaigner since I traded him in after Rd4. missed all his tons and copped average scores of 75.
