I am guilty.
Lol you are forgiven. Seriously though, I was all for it but had no idea he was going to be this good. And there's more to come.

That's kind of crazy to me. He was coming off that 5 goal prelim performance where he dominated the game. I was very excited to pick him up. I think pick 12 is a steal tbh.Remember when we traded for Charlie and screams of over paying were heard?
Worth every cent/lost pick opportunity.
And imagine how good our youngsters feel when THE Charlie Cameron pats them on the back.
Not to shit on Cam because I love him but it's a pretty crazy draft/trade year when he is the least important or maybe more accurately has made the least impact on field from that year. For many, myself included, it wasn't an idea that we overpaid, it was more a case that 15 would've got the job done.
In hindsight, it was all irrelevant.
Charlie Cameron, Cam Rayner, Zac Bailey, Brandon Starcevich, and Jack Payne makes for a pretty tasty trade & draft haul six years on.

And Payne is only really starting to make a big impact now. Like I said, it wasn't to shit on Cam but to applaud our drafting and trading that year. I believe Cam will be more important and more consistent in the future. Also, the only one from that list that has done an ACL.

The flip side of the ACL argument is he was given a lot more opportunities, specifically early on than all of those guys outside of Cameron. Payne in particular should have been playing more games a lot earlier when Gardiner was struggling. It has only been since he was able to get some consitency that he has been able to make a statement.
Imagine a few more seasons of this year's Charlie.Lol you are forgiven. Seriously though, I was all for it but had no idea he was going to be this good. And there's more to come.
if its wet not sure pace is going to be primary selection. maybe the slower guys might get a run
Told my someone who is usually on the money (yet to be wrong) that Harry is playing.if its wet not sure pace is going to be primary selection. maybe the slower guys might get a run.
I watched the replay from the Blues game last night and loved Cams pressure and tackling. He did not get used much at all, but it really stood out that he was committed to impacting defensively even if the team weren't using him up forward.
I'd really like to see us rotate him and Dunks when Dunks needs a rest. Feel like they are the perfect like for like to rotate. Both contested bulls and strong defensively. Both great marks.
Reckon Cam still has a ways to go with his running to offer the sort of defensive stuff Dunks is putting in but I do feel we really should be rolling Cam into the midfield for more extended periods and when we rest Dunk would be the perfect time. I wouldn't mind seeing the two of them together with Lachie in a few bounces tbh.
Apparently Parish has hurt his calf and won’t be lining up for the Bombres.

Wonder how much stock we can put in Zorko being named at half back...
