I was just saying that he is a necessary cog to have. Fyfe is the best mid.... McDonald is the best back. Imo he is as important to the backline as Fyfe is to he mids

Last year missed 4 games at the start of the year and played every game from Round 7. I'd argue that you'd struggle to find a more consistent player in terms of availability. Take a 100 average from a forward any day of the week.

Lids body isn't what it used to be. As the club has stated on numerous occasions this year, he will be closely managed for the rest of his career.
