I did Kosi to Poulter as a first thought. This leaves me with $205,100 and 18 trades.

What would you do with this team? I almost want a dead rookie to get rubbed out for the year so I can just trade them for another rookie.

Id probably hold. You could Berry to RCD but not really worth it.

Alright brains trust, I’m in a pickle with my D6. Have Murphy, Jones and Highmore D6-D8. On the assumption all will miss this week can anyone see a better option then Warner>Poulter, and Jones/Murphy>Ridley. Highmore not enough cash.
I would really prefer to upgrade Warner, and if I do downgrade not blowing the whole lot on upgrading a basement priced rookie.
If one of the 3 plays I’ll hold off.

You need cash gen I'd just double down and cop the donut. Jones and Murphy will be back soon

Biggest concerns for me at the moment are the two crows ROB and TEX, both about to plummet in price.
Really don't want to go Gawn a week early as his BE is still massive!

Option 1 Double down: TEX > Poulter & Campbell to RCD BANK: $520,000

Option 2: ROB > Marshall (swing him forward for Warner next week and grab GAWN) & Tex > Poulter BANK $388,000

Option 3: Tex > Pouler & COX > Mills completing my backline BANK $129,000

Leaning towards option 2 at the moment

If pies give an indication that Murphy will come straight back in after missing one then you could cop the donut. Otherwise worth the trade I think.

Pretty stumped for what to do this week. Not much cash in the bank so I can't do any major upgrades and trades are starting to run low.

Might just have to go Brockman to RCD/Poulter and hope guys like Waterman and Macrae play.

Hall's no more of an injury risk than Zieb, Impey, Tex or a number of risky players that people started with or traded in this year. He has a low b/e so if he gets injured five minutes in it's not going to be the end of the world. He isn't the best user of the ball, but then again neither is Ziebell. Both do have very friendly SC roles though, thus balancing out the risk factor imo.
That’s a good point mate, He certainly does score well that’s for sure

Agree, I think Hall is a fine pick. But with your point, as I already have Dusty, Bolton, Zieb and Impey as forward keepers, who all have injury or scoring concerns, I'm looking at finishing my forward line with a couple of studs (probably Marshall and somebody else). If Hall was slightly cheaper I'd be all over him, but at $410k I'm happy to pass on him. I see the appeal and if he manages to stay fit, he'll be pumping out big scores week in, week out

I like option 2. You can then hold off on Gawn until he bottoms out. Tex has to go.

I'm really wishing I had have downgraded Tex last week - now I've lost more money, and can't do a double upgrade this week.

Is he finally fully cooked? I mean with a BE of 178 he's going to lose out regardless, but does he have anything left in him 'cause it sure would have been nice to upgrade someone else this week.

Hall has already been injured twice this year hasn't he? We're 8 rounds in lol. And people are trading him in?

I think I am going to avoid the forward line desperation and upgrade the last of my mids. Titch in this week for Gulden. Steele next week in likely. Hopefully the mids pump out some big scores to make up forward rookies.

Re-assess the forwards later on.

Normally I'm f... the byes, but how many coaches currently have DNP's that will really hurt in a few rounds time? Am I wrong to be worried about having Highmore, Brockman and Waterman ( :$ ) with the byes looming?

Just try to be balanced this year aim for 18 in the first round and go from there, with the amount of dead rookies dont think many will have the luxury of dropping scores across the byes.

Darcy Moore relevant again if he is playing in Defence?

Could trade L.Jones to him this week to avoid a donut and hopefully get some cash out of him.

Pretty sure he was the injury sub and he got knocked out, so you could really remove those 2 scores from his season.

Had a read of the North board and they're all happy with him, so I'm going to bite the bullet.

Had him 5-6 years ago when he was the 1st ranked forward after 4 rounds with a 125 average but then he fell off, so it feels weird getting him again.

2 is pure genius.

Love number 2 as well mate, ROB is killing me, but just going to persist as I have other needs

Tom Mitchell or Josh Kelly to come in, can't decide on which.

Kelly loves getting injured, while Mitchell has suffered a little this year with contested ball down.

Kelly is back in his preferred position though and looking sublime.

Very hard to decide, also Mitchell likely to get the tag in his next two matches against North and Carlton.

May and Murphy trades might not have gone fully to plan.

Planning to double downgrade this week going Kischizke and Warner to Poulter and RCD via Laird. Allows me to have 400k to one up one down for the next two weeks.

Subject to teamsheets at this stage.
Powell > Titch, the only query is whether JOM out has helped him but he was more at the contest this week than previous ones.
Kosi > Byrnes, will look into his JS a bit more before committing with RCD the fallback. Went early on Poulter last week.

Leaves me with this, no defensive cover so hopefully get swing cover back when Jones gets named.

Next target is Oliver, then Macrae and Lyons after their bye is the plan/dream, need roughly 2.2 millie cash for that, the best 6 rookies left is 1.6 millie so need some serious mooing have trades in hand so could use a couple more to bridge the gap just need some downgrade options to present. F6 a problem too but the goal is a top shelf mids, none of the Brayshaw/Heppell/Cripps/Taranto types although Taranto has come good.

At this stage I think I’ll go Gulden and Warner > Poulter and RCD. Give me 460k to hopefully go Mansell > Ridley and Powell > Steele/Petracca next week.

Still have three forward rookies on my field but no premos excite me.. I’ll wait for Dusty to find form and Butters to come back.

Who would you bring in out of:

Mills (via Laird) - keeps $132k in the bank
Guthrie - keeps $83.5k
Titch - keeps $165k
Bolton - keeps $192k
