Re: Round 15 trades

Hurns scoring well and his by next week he will have no more byes. Last week he scored a 47 and his BE is high. If you not worried about this go Hurn.

My question.

Sylvia v Fyfe v Petrie?

Re: Round 15 trades

you could go sandi to lobbe from port he will take over from brogan after this week being his last game.witch if you need to put pee-tree in the ruck this week and move sylvia forward and up grade prestia/krack to a gun mid.just a thought

cheer mate, thats a real nice idea

think i might take it and run

bring in abblet

Re: Round 15 trades

Mentioned it to a few mates over time and just seemed to get a 'roll of the eyes' and 'that's a stupid idea' expression on face from each of them. After reading more into this idea on here I really am convinced / sold on the idea that a floating MID/FWD MPP to fill holes during byes is an excellent one.

Thinking of going this week as very nice byes gap filler leading into finals.

Darling >> Chapman

Chappy in my case would fill he holes for -
Priddis this week, Round 16 Pav / Fyfe, Round 17 Franklin, Round 19 Goodes / O'Keefe, Round 20 Boyd, Round 21 Petrie and plus maybe some added protection come Rounds 23 & 24 which could be crucial in league finals.

Sticking with this plan after some deep long thought into it. Really could define the rest of my season from here on in...

Re: Round 15 trades

B: Scotland; Deledio; Gibbs; Goddard; Shaw; Enright; Heppell (Duigan; Stanley; Batchelor)
C: Boyd; Pendlebury; Thompson; Judd; Ablett; Swan (Mzungu; Jacobs; Irons)
R: Cox; Petrie (Smith; Bailey)
F: Pavlich; Harvey; Goodes; Franklin; Chapman; N Riewoldt; Krakouer (Smith; Howe, Richardson)

8 trades. $135,900.

I may go Irons <> Callinan
and
Krakouer <> O'Keefe

That leaves me with 6 trades and 1 upgrade needed (bring Fisher in).

Not really sure what to do. Any thoughts would be appreciated but considering I didn't comment on any other teams I understand this may be pushing it a little.

Re: Round 15 trades

The problem I can see for those interested in the knockout finals is that too many people have too few trades to cover for carlton, geelong and North players who have byes at finals time.

Oh...and add to that how many geelong/pies players will be rested in rd24

That is a very sound strategy. ROK still has a 110 BE and Fisher a 93, both Krak & Heppell are ripe - so you could even look at Fisher this week and ROK next.

Spot on. Even worse for those switching between the two strategies at this late stage.

Cheers, mate.

I'd LOVE to get Fisher in this week rather than O'Keefe, but I just can't find a way to do it.

Re: Round 15 trades

Went Mummy to Goldie. Simple as that..
only trade i will be doing for a number of weeks :)

Re: Round 15 trades

Tossing up whether to bother pulling the trigger on Richardson -> Callinan this week, getting sick of the guy and have no forward bench cover. 7 trades left after doing Heppell -> Fisher

Looks a solid plan. That's what I'd be doing.

^^^^IMO ROK has been most consistent of those 4...^^^^

DO I START KRAKOEUR OR MZUNGU?

I'd go Mzungu regardless of opposition and venue, but definitely at home vs Gold Coast.

My question: Lower or Heppell > Fisher??

Am leaning towards Heppell.

Re: Round 15 trades

Heppell coz Dons have the bye in R24...

Trades this week:
Hibberd > Callinan
McKernan > Fyfe

Meanwhile I think I've finally settled on a 22. No major upgrades needed. Still have 8 trades left too.

B: Deledio, Newman, Gibbs, Goddard, Enright, Adcock, Gilbert (Heppell;Pederson;Howard)
M: Boyd, Pendlebury, Pavlich, Mitchell, Swan, Bartel (Smith;Evans;Callinan)
R: Petrie, Smith (Sandilands;Derickx)
F: Fyfe, O'Keefe, Sylvia, Franklin, Chapman, N.Riewoldt, Higgins (Matera;Mzungu;Harper)

That's a great squad, and you're sitting pretty with 8 trades in hand. You're in the very enviable position of being able to carry big Gigantilands too. Could be the ace up your sleeve in finals.

Re: Round 15 trades

Apologies all, just brought in Fisher for Lower. So here come's Fishers lowest score for the year and the start of a patch of poor form.

Yeah, me too. I guess I should post a warning on the captain thread after what I did to Boyd and Bartel last time I brought in premiums.
