Re: Round 7 Trades

Bloody hell, going to cop another zero with Franklin out.

None of my reserves are playing, what the hell is going on with Shuey, Banner, Rockliff and Hitchcock because I really can't keep having reserves that aren't playing on my bench.

Is it worth trading one of the forward reserves out for a say, Fyfe?

Rockliff is playing

Re: Round 7 Trades

yeah always a fisher fan but hasnt been the same since coming back from his ankle, maybe he is over it now....

basically my options are:

malceski
gilbert
fisher

I really want shaw but cant afford... my backline is

goddard, hodge, enright, gilbee, waters, hunt, ladson (mcguire, nason)

i want to save some cash to go ziebell to pav next week!

HELP!!!!
Yeah Fisher is the way to go I feel under priced Scores of 110, 65, 73, 114 and has a BE of 91 and es very capable.

unless you go for Hargrave? Only 367k was 515k at the start of the season.

Re: Round 7 Trades

Hey all,

Looks like I can finally use the MPP this week for what its supposed to be there for.

With Clark out I can move Tippett into the Ruck. Place Lobbe on forward line bench and bring in either Rockcliff or Gumby to replace Tippett.

Anyone else doing something similiar? Or were ya's all smarter enough to offload Tippett ages ago? LOL :D

Now my question is who to bring in Rockcliff or Gumby?
Any ideas??

Cheers

Re: Round 7 Trades

Can I please get an opinion on this one:

I want to upgrade Bastinac and have 330K in the bank.

Would you go Swan or Hayes and 52k in change?

I could wait another week for both to drop another 20k if they both miss their high break evens but I want to get someone in this week as i'm within a sniff of the top 100.

Cheers

hayes is looking a very juicy price but im also hesitant because last week he dominated that game. 34 touches, 7 tackles and BOG but only scored 103. not sure who else to look at. i dont mind cross at 505k set to rise this week with a not bad BE

my dilemma is i traded silvagni for gilbee and now have 120k and 15trades. franklin is out and i have hitchcock and roberts on the bench. usually i wouldnt trade just to avoid a 0 for 1 week but im looking forward and probably need some bench coverage for weeks when my players are rest etc. should i trade hitchcock for fyfe to make 64k. is fyfe set to stay in the team all that long?

Re: Round 7 Trades

i'd go swan mate, but thats cuz my team has no pies players and it probably should.

i just bit the bullet and traded warren for pods. im spewing i didnt trade hitchcock for him when i could get him cheap, but it will net me and extra 130k and 30 points a week then if i need to i can swap him up to ROK, whereas warren is going nowhere!

Re: Round 7 Trades

Pav or O'Keefe?

Pav this week, OKeefe will drop a bit more next couple of rounds..

Hmm, 2 trades it looks like for me.. been mulling over it for a while this week.

Bastinac > Howlett, just can't decide on who to bring in for Masten?

MMurphy
Simpson
Hayes
Cross

Already have Ablett, Selwood, Pendles, Barlow and Martin so I'm not so keen on Swan/Bartel

Or I could do nothing, play Bastinac and have no bench cover..

Any fresh ideas?

Re: Round 7 Trades

Have to bring in Seaby for Kreuzer
Options:
Jetta > Howlett
Hunt > White
Warnock > Roughead
Thoughts?

Re: Round 7 Trades

I need to get seaby out of my team, would like a premium ruckman as my other ruckman is hille.

Would Cox be a good choice? Is he going to become as good as he was last year?

Can't afford Sandliands.

Re: Round 7 Trades

I would play Rockliff, esorhali.

I'm really struggling here. I have so many options but in the end I might just call it a day and not trade.

16 trades left.

What do I do with Dangerfield?

Cheers.

Dangerfield you could go to Fyfe or go up to a fallen premium if you have cash in reserve.

I'd be tempted to go Shuey > Howlett but that's just me.

Tough choice, I wouldn't go for any of the carlton boys with Judd back in the side, and i feel Hayes is too risky. Cross would be your best bet, and unique.
I can understand your reasoning with Bartel, already having Ablett and Selwood in the side, but if you can snap up Swan get him straight away, he's a gun.

Re: Round 7 Trades

Which midfield premium do I upgrade Vince too? Stanton looks like very good value, but will he be consistent?

Sandilands is THE ruckman to have this year. I cant see Cox being as good as in previous years but he should at least avg. 90+

Unless you are getting an ultra-premium in Ablett/Judd you might as well keep Vince for now as Stanton is a pretty avg. SC player.

Re: Round 7 Trades

Once again not sure what I should do with my team this week.

DEF Hodge Goddard Enright Shaw Waters Kennelly Davis (Goose & Nason)

MID Ablett Barlow Judd Cooney Ladson Martin (Jetta & Trengrove)

Ruck Sandlilands Hille (Warnock & Lobbe)

FWD Brown ROK Hall Medhurst Pods Tippett Gumby (Franklin & Dangerfield)

16 Trades and just over 200k in the bank.

Was planning on

Jetta > Howlett - which seems very sideways

Ladson > Pavlich - then using MPP to put Gumby on bench and Dangerfield onto midfield bench.
Or Dangerfield > Pavlich - and give up on Danger who I think could still play well and is ahead of schedule

My forward line is my obvious week point at this stage especially with injuries and poor form.

I Could also just do the one downgrade this week and re asses later.
Thoughts/ideas?

Only Carlton guy I'm really looking at is Murphy TBH, as he is fully fit and consistently scoring over 100-110 but playing St Kilda. Cross is flying too. Only drama is he able to get the points with Boyd back? 60k price difference Cross BE 107 Murphy 135 or something. Just keep leaning to Murphy for some reason?

Mate I would go Crossy, was going to pick him up this week but had to use my 2nd trade to get rid of seaby, but he will be in next week. He is down a whole lot of money too after scoring a 70 in 1 game. Bargin price atm.

Re: Round 7 Trades

Thinking of 2 trades this week

either
Medhurst>Fyfe and Hille>Sandi

or

Jetta/Bastinac>Howlett and Medhurst>ROK

Any help would be much appreciated

Really? Is that including his 133, 69, 86, 96, 137 and his preseason scores of 121 and 196? Averaged over 100 last year and almost 120 in his last 4 games last season including a final.
