Season 38 Round 5 Roys v Hawks
Well this was a game which we won/drew/lost (delete as appropriate). Throughout the game we played poorly/average/like the Harlem Globetrotters. The game was neck and neck for three quarters and as a special treat to Mobbs in his 600th game, we even played the fourth quarter too. We even - and I can't believe I'm saying this - allowed him to score a goal (and miss several but we'll gloss over that in the circumstances). SpecialBruce was also outstanding in his milestone 50th, helping himself to 26 touches and two goals, while Phar Ace had 23, 9 marks and 4 tackles. _Mike_ just did Mike things - doesn't seem to matter where he plays - with 18 touches and 3 goals. And we couldn't have done this without DERRINALPHIL give us first use of the ball 12 times, taking 20 touches himself and snagging 3 goals. Some rocking performances were had by (nearly) all if we're honest.
The season so far
Despite results being a bit up and down, we've seen some cracking individual performances so far this season. It's too early to be hanging medals around necks but keep it up boys and girls and they will come.
