Unfortunately it's part of the modern game.

Lets not forget the hysteria over Butcher/Trengove last year and Boak in 2010.
I'm sure he'll sign, but some will always fret. It's good for the media to try and create fractions and insecurity. If Boak is legit in staying his family is over this weekend I can't see why it couldn't be sorted now and start talks after this weekend!

What rubbish.

He will be signed by the mid way mark of the season and about 12 weeks before his contract even runs out. Massive non-issue.

if i had the time i'd get onto that fake twitter site and create one from #Trav10 that says something like "PORT Adelaide player Travis Boak wants to know early if coach Matthew Primus is going to seek to have his contract extended".

Boak's mother and sisters were all at the game on the weekend,

They were also at the pre-game function and were presented with a 'Boakuet' of Flowers haha.

Duncanson said along the lines of:

"We know that Travis has a very important decision to make over the coming weeks, but tonight we do not want to talk about contracts or that decision, tonight is about celebrating Travis's 100th Game along side one of his best mates Jackson who is celebrating his 50th.

Had a big round of applause after, and its great to see the club making a valued effort to be more than just chucking fancy meals and gimmicks at his family to try and get them to stay - they seem to genuinely be making a big effort to make the family, part of our PAFC Family.
