On the Greg Lynn committal proceedings Crown Prosecutor Mr Dickie said 'It is clear hopefully from the document, and if it's not clear from the document it's clear hopefully from the charges put before the court, that it is alleged of course that the accused acted with murderous intent when he allegedly killed the two victims.'

Public posts on Facebook go from Jan 2017 straight to June 2020.. Lots of adventures posts. Glad he was never around my area!!

Wonder if the releasing of the vehicle photo has triggered a spray painter to come forward.

You would have to think a full respray of that type of vehicle would be rare, esp a different colour.

So he's a family man? Kids?
Imagine seeing your dad's/husband's car on the news the last few weeks knowing he frequents the area, and has resprayed it.
Gotta say you usually default to assuming it’s some weirdo who lives on his own. Seeing him out and about happily with his family on trips challenges one’s preconceived ideas.

It just seems odd, your a senior pilot on supposedly good $$$ and keep a 20 year-old petrol patrol, worth nothing, and which can implicate you in a potential homicide?
And you repaint it, rather than tell the family "ol Bessy just ain't up to it no more"
Seems dumb for what should be a smart guy.
Take it to the wreckers, job done, then buy a 4.2 if you really love old patrols.

20 yo Patrols are worth big bucks these days. That may have played a part.

This guy probably has no crimimal record and is s family man who loves the bush. Not what most of us envisaged the suspect to be.

Unless the coppers have got it wrong...

The 4.2 diesels are but a petrol on LPG? who wants that, surely the covid tax hasnt inflated them that much? Might be time to cash in on my spare 2000 Hilux!

I just figured if you go to the trouble of repainting why not just ditch it and be extra sure, maybe there is an emotional attachment, maybe money trouble, divorced? Caroline Springs is an odd choice for pilot income.

They're going to have to have some pretty solid evidence to pin this guy . A family man with a solid career , defence will play that to the jury

What might make a family man with no criminal history and a solid career snap and do something so awful? Then pull two bodies at dead weight into a trailer to take them somewhere else to bury and desperately try to cover it all up with fire.

Protecting someone else?

I reckon it is too, the only thing going for it really is it's not that far from the airport. There's far better areas, most of the pilots I know live around Gisborne, Macedon or on Mt. Macedon.
