On the Greg Lynn committal proceedings Crown Prosecutor Mr Dickie said 'It is clear hopefully from the document, and if it's not clear from the document it's clear hopefully from the charges put before the court, that it is alleged of course that the accused acted with murderous intent when he allegedly killed the two victims.'

I am sorry, there is no way RH is walking over to Lynn's campsite with no shoes on to steal a gun from a hunter, it just didn't happen, lynn has been very methodical in his description of the scene, the stuff made up and rehearsed but very much I am not sure what they were wearing? what.... he puts their bodies into his trailer, he buries them, returns twice to completely destroy their remains but he is unsure of those details, it proves to me that the details he is so sure of, the ones he states as facts, are in fact lies.
Do we know where the tent door was? was it facing the ute, under the awning section?
My take on things......They may have been in bed, heard something outside the tent, RH has gone to investigate, Lynn poking around trying to get the drone, does get in a tussle with Russell and he stabs him, shit... now shit has just got real, he then gets his gun, he could even entice Carol out by saying, Help I think Russell has had a heart attack, as carol is climbing out of the tent he shoots her from over the front of the ute.
I am not sure about anyone else but when I am camping, i will always have some sort of slip on shoe/ thongs to pop on when leaving the tent, who wants to be dragging all the sand/dirt etc into the tent when you go to bed?

The decision to childishly blare music from his car doesn't fit with what is seen of Lynn in the interview. He is cool, calm & collected. IMO he has had to come up with a story as to why there was an initial confrontation that would fit with the rest of his story.

Don't think he really needs a story as it was RH that came to Buck's Camp when GL was already there, not the other way around. Also, there was seemingly no issue on the night of Thursday Mar 19 either. Whatever ultimately happened there does appear to be some sort of altercation on the 20th of March.

What sort of music do we think GL would play?

Jefferson Airplane?
Wings?
B52s?
Jet?
Led Zeppelin?
Interesting that when asked the music he was playing, he couldn't remember.... here is where I think his story is unravelling. He knew he was "screwed" so his only way out was to come clean , albeit with a different story. He is appealing to the police truth radars with his mischief making loud music story... but he forgot to think of the music he was playing. I thought he was quite hesitant when asked. IMO.

That wasn't my point... I was referring to where it becomes obvious that he IS telling a story.

He would never have been playing loud music to annoy the campers.. It is a complete red herring...... otherwise my opion is that he is just telling the complete truth. Defence having a field day with the police witness as we speak.

Which poilice witness is giving evidence at the moment?

Dann bringing Florence to his knees. He is methodically proving that everything Lynn said is true.
How is he proving that Russell Hill died as the result of a knife would to the chest? Russell's body was moved, burnt, and smashed into bone fragments, and no knife has been found with Russell's blood on it...

Not sure how he does that with lack of evidence?

There was some talk forensic tests & recreation tests the police conducted supported GL's version of events. Maybe that's what is going down right now.

Another prosecution issue is RH death. If it was via knife why wouldn't he just shoot him just like CC? Death by knife is not quick and one has to get close up to their victim.

It seems we have evidence to support the theory that RH bled out over GL at close quarters (blood & DNA from RH in the motel room) which indicates death by a stab wound.

According to prosecution CC was alive when RH was killed. What did she do during this alleged stabbing? Just stand back?

The prosecution won't dispute that Hill died by knife, it could be a trap. If he's convicted with the prosecution asserting Hill was shot and down the track, Lynn remembers exactly where the knife is or someone finds it and it's found to have Hill's DNA on it, he gets out for convictions on Hill and could probably successfully appeal convictions on Clay.

Similar to Azaria Chamberlain's matinee jacket. The matinee jacket the prosecution said did not exist and it was found years later, Lindy was promptly released.

Lynn told police that soon after Clay was shot dead, Hill ran at him with a black-handled kitchen knife and died when he fell on the knife during a struggle.

Lynn said the knife had penetrated the area around Hill’s heart as the pair fell to the ground.

A Supreme Court jury has been told the couple watched a 60 Minutes episode about the disappearance of Hill, 74, and Clay, 73, which aired in November 2021.

The program included a picture of a car and trailer police were seeking to identify that had been in the Wonnangatta Valley at the time the pair vanished.
The court heard Melanie Lynn commented to her husband that the footage “really looked like his car and trailer”.

Days later, Lynn removed a black awning from the passenger side of his Nissan Patrol.
The court heard a listening device had been placed in the couple’s home and the TV program was aired as part of a media strategy by police to find information.

He told police that he and Hill were struggling over Lynn’s shotgun when it accidentally fired and struck Clay, killing her.

Lynn told police that soon after Clay was shot dead, Hill ran at him with a black-handled kitchen knife and died when he fell on the knife during a struggle.
Lynn said the knife had penetrated the area around Hill’s heart as the pair fell to the ground.
The prosecution disputes his account and says Lynn killed the pair with murderous intent.
The trial continues.
