As true journalist integrity, I cannot speak on behalf of my journalists other than all articles are researched and sufficiently factual to be printed…. Like a Damian Barrett articleThis post is as nasty as some strange accusations leveled at me today by one of your media cohorts.

Like MWPP's entry, this feels like a bit of a window into your soul. Which is surprising, because I wasn't actually convinced that you had one. But I'm now just thinking of a teenage Tim Heidecker (or more correctly, an adult Tim Heidecker head on a teenager body) riding all around the mean streets of 1990's Wagga Wagga.Cute. This might revolve around a few series of action figures etc.
1. Construx Alien figurine.

Most of my action play revolved around this character, who came in a ship which could have stuff connected to it IIRC. I think he was the villain. I bought one off ebay last year which is sitting on a shelf near me, for my little bloke to have when he's older. IIRC he was best friends with an ewok and a Bart Simpson keyring.
2. Toy Biz X-Men
The original Wolverine with removable mask and retractable claws was the best, but I also loved the next version, blue and yellow suit. The whole series of these toys was awesome.
3. The Real Ghostbusters vintage Egon Spengler
Clearly being born in the 80's means I was in heaven for this stuff, especially the Ghostbusters toys based on the animated show (which had Egon as a blonde for some reason).
4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (in particular Michaelangelo)
I had the original series which was a tie in on the TV show but was clearly based on the graphic novels. My favourites though were the ones based on the live action movies... they had a rubbery texture which was very satisfying. Probably my least favourite set was the one where they were all in a rock band.
5. Masters Of The Universe
Another 80's classic. I think between me and my brothers we had them all, including all the She-Ra villains. Grizzlor made a good Beast substitute. I remember Orko used to have a plastic key thing that made him ride. These toys were awesome.
6. Nintendo 64
I could have put the Commodore 64 or either the NES/SNES here but from a family of six brothers the 64 was perfect for us. From Goldeneye to Mario Kart to the various WCW and WWF games, it was made for a family. I got a Switch for my 40th this year basically so I could play Mario 64 again.
7. My old sh*t bike
I got my first mountain bike when I was 12 and it was some old brown garbage bike that got me everywhere and almost never needed a repair. I'd probably ride the entirety of Wagga Wagga in a week and was always on that thing. It got replaced by a nice new bike when I was 16 but I never remember that one too much.
8. Star Wars
Probably too far down but again a series where we had pretty much all of them although time wise this would have all been from Return Of The Jedi.
9. Sooty
These last two probably would be top two on the awww feelings list. My nanna took me into town in Luton on a double decker bus on my birthday (I'm gonna guess 5th) to pick out a present which would have been a huge adventure and thrill and I still have vague memories of it. That day I picked out a Sooty hand puppet, with wand, that I had for years but probably lost it a few times as it was a fun way of pulling hair.
10. ET
When I was a little kid, two or three, I was mad about ET (I was also mad about Boy George but it was England in the early 80's). One day my other nana had us over her house and she'd had bought this full size (well, taller than me) standing plush ET and hid it behind her couch to surprise me. It's probably the one thing on this list I wish I still had now. I'll add Sooty in to that too, neither of my grandmothers are alive and both would be nice to have to pass down, or just store away.
Always playing by the numbersI would hate to see an Accountant Band.
Would be rather dull, Id' imagine.

Toys
4. Mousetrap
There is a guy on the internet who restores old matchbox cars.My fave toys growing up were Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. Loved that sh*t. Collecting Hot Wheels muscle cars specifically. I had a really nice collection in a big case that my mum sold behind my back to some rando eight years ago. All I have left is some Cadillac.
Ironic that I loved cars so much and yet I never learned to drive a car in real life (actually, to make this relevant, I am taking my Learner's online now).
I loved trading cards too. Don't know if they count as toys. Pokémon and AFL Dream Team. I once spent like $50 or $150 or some sh*t at the market on an entire regular collection of Select AFL cards. My parents were so pissed, lol.
Ironic that I loved trade and commerce so much and yet I've never invested in anything in my life (actually, to make this relevant, I am getting my license solely so I can trade crypto online now).
Razor scooters were cool.
I have no way to make that relevant.
Yeah, playing/trading cards definitely count. I had a huge Rugby League collection and then later on Magic The Gathering was huge at my high school and I got addicted to them. I'd occasionally skip my trumpet lessons and go to Phantom Comics in Chatswood and buy a new set of cards to add to my deck.My fave toys growing up were Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. Loved that sh*t. 3. Tonka Truck
4. Mousetrap
5. Bow and Arrow - toy
6. Repeating Rifle - toy
7. Scalextric
8. Matchbox Cars
9. Hot Wheels Track
10. Meccano
I've been playing with my old matchbox cars that I've handed down to my daughter lately. Some of them are so beaten up - does he restore them for other people, or just for himself? There is a guy on the internet who restores old matchbox cars.
It's actually interesting

I considered that one but it only works with that line. The name by itself doesn't, I'm sure they chose the Christmas name just for that line at the end.
