what is that?
Just a brand of Mayo, it’s Japanese I believe
It’s really good more of a subtle buttery taste than normal mayo

Really good with chicken snitz or crispy chicken

If only I'd known you were such a veghead, I would've made it this week's theme. I'm assuming #3 is red capsicum and that green capsicum isn't on your list at all because it's worthless. T2B_ will be none too happy that avocado only just squeezed into the top ten ...

Happy Thursday Friday (aka manangatang's fourth second favourite day of the week)! We're running pretty late, as it's my wife's birthday and I've hardly touched my phone. But let's kick off now with ...

TOP TEN THURSDAY FRIDAY!

This much-loved SFA tradition is a pretty simple one - each Thursday Friday in the match thread, a theme is posted at 10am(ish) and than anyone that wants to join in lists their top ten according to the theme. Previous themes have included TOP TEN MOVIE VILLAINS*, TOP TEN GREGORIAN CHANTS and TOP TEN HISTORICAL TAX REFORM PACKAGES. But this week we're gonna be listing ...

... TOP TEN CHILDHOOD TOYS

It might be a very special cuddly toy that you have kept into adulthood, or it might have been something that you used once like a remote control car. Maybe it was your first console (hello there NES) or a specific game like Goldeneye. It might have been something more active like your first football or some rollerskates or a kite (am I being too naive here?) or it could be something that completely gives your age away e.g. Tamagotchi or slapbands or conkers. It doesn't really matter, it's YOUR top ten!

There aren't any other rules for Top Ten Thursday except that your list needs to have ten entries (no more, no less). Feel free to order them from 1-10 if you like, and while explanations aren't necessary, they make the whole thing more interesting. And of course, ripping apart other nominations is definitely allowed/encouraged.

* Hans Gruber figured prominently.

Cute. This might revolve around a few series of action figures etc.

1. Construx Alien figurine.

Most of my action play revolved around this character, who came in a ship which could have stuff connected to it IIRC. I think he was the villain. I bought one off ebay last year which is sitting on a shelf near me, for my little bloke to have when he's older. IIRC he was best friends with an ewok and a Bart Simpson keyring.

2. Toy Biz X-Men

The original Wolverine with removable mask and retractable claws was the best, but I also loved the next version, blue and yellow suit. The whole series of these toys was awesome.

3. The Real Ghostbusters vintage Egon Spengler

Clearly being born in the 80's means I was in heaven for this stuff, especially the Ghostbusters toys based on the animated show (which had Egon as a blonde for some reason).

4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (in particular Michaelangelo)

I had the original series which was a tie in on the TV show but was clearly based on the graphic novels. My favourites though were the ones based on the live action movies... they had a rubbery texture which was very satisfying. Probably my least favourite set was the one where they were all in a rock band.

5. Masters Of The Universe

Another 80's classic. I think between me and my brothers we had them all, including all the She-Ra villains. Grizzlor made a good Beast substitute. I remember Orko used to have a plastic key thing that made him ride. These toys were awesome.

6. Nintendo 64

I could have put the Commodore 64 or either the NES/SNES here but from a family of six brothers the 64 was perfect for us. From Goldeneye to Mario Kart to the various WCW and WWF games, it was made for a family. I got a Switch for my 40th this year basically so I could play Mario 64 again.

7. My old shit bike

I got my first mountain bike when I was 12 and it was some old brown garbage bike that got me everywhere and almost never needed a repair. I'd probably ride the entirety of Wagga Wagga in a week and was always on that thing. It got replaced by a nice new bike when I was 16 but I never remember that one too much.

8. Star Wars

Probably too far down but again a series where we had pretty much all of them although time wise this would have all been from Return Of The Jedi.

9. Sooty

These last two probably would be top two on the awww feelings list. My nanna took me into town in Luton on a double decker bus on my birthday (I'm gonna guess 5th) to pick out a present which would have been a huge adventure and thrill and I still have vague memories of it. That day I picked out a Sooty hand puppet, with wand, that I had for years but probably lost it a few times as it was a fun way of pulling hair.

10. ET

When I was a little kid, two or three, I was mad about ET (I was also mad about Boy George but it was England in the early 80's). One day my other nana had us over her house and she'd had bought this full size (well, taller than me) standing plush ET and hid it behind her couch to surprise me. It's probably the one thing on this list I wish I still had now. I'll add Sooty in to that too, neither of my grandmothers are alive and both would be nice to have to pass down, or just store away.

Please refrain from posting personal images of me it’s against bigfooty rules and I would hate to see your account band

I would hate to see an Accountant Band.
Would be rather dull, Id' imagine.

I thought Kewpie was a YouTube presenter?
What’s he now doing as condiments?

This post is as nasty as some strange accusations leveled at me today by one of your media cohorts.
