Your first word is fair, the rest, well you know my stance already.

Just wondering where your posts have been about the many clubs that broke the rule and all got let off with no captains being suspended for failing to read the rules that have been there for many years. ;)
I think there are two clear differences between the two breaches.

One - not listing the off-season retirements/delistings in the squad submission - is something that is analysed closely every season and has a clear inconvenience on keeping track of the history of the league. Every club captain has been meticulous with it for many seasons, and this particular case was out of apparent laziness. A well known rule that has a clear impact on the league.

The other has been forgotten over the passage of time to the point where many clubs have been unwittingly doing it for several seasons now unpunished. To suddenly ping every perpetrator this season out of the blue would be in my mind very impulsive. It would be the equivalent of if the WA police started fining every person to have more than 50 kg of potatoes in their possession (this is indeed a real law with a fine of $2000) without a notice to the public along the lines of "Police now targeting potato hoarders" before they started cracking down. An archaic/forgotten rule that needs to be highlighted prior to active enforcement.

Verdict of RE-Vote

All committee members have voted to either dismiss or uphold the High Impact Charge on the Bombers. If upheld, the HI charge would remain, if dismissed, the charge would be downgraded to a Medium Impact.

The Bombers challenge has been successful with 6 committee members voting to dismiss the High Impact charge. Thus, their charge for incorrect Squad Submission will be downgraded to Medium Impact. Captains BLUEALLTHRU and Metalcrusher will still miss a week, but the Bombers will no longer receive a -2 point penalty.

So we can just forget about rules eh?? Seems legit ... you are a deadset rocket scientist aren't you ...

No - we should not forget about the rules. But we shouldn't start penalising people for breaching rules that have not been enforced for several seasons without a warning that they'll be enforced again.

Oh like the Bombers one ... righto .. gotcha.

Go on dig that one up where the rule used against was "last" used ;)

Find me an example of any other captain forgetting to list their squad OUTs in recent memory.

That wasn't your initial point mate ... but sure deflect away ;)

The Ophidian Old Boys wish to advise that our legal counsel has a solution to this scenario.

All captains who have failed to comply with this requirement must spin the...

Can't find anyone who didn't list their OUTs, hey? Well that's why no-one has been pinged for it recently until your little forgetful moment.

So your argument on one hand is saying that one rule is ..

"The other has been forgotten over the passage of time to the point where many clubs have been unwittingly doing it for several seasons now unpunished."

So thats ok ...

Then yet you voted to UPHOLD on another rule .. wait let be get what you said ...

"Can't find anyone who didn't list their OUTs, hey? Well that's why no-one has been pinged for it recently."

Hmmm ...

Every other club captain is aware of the squad changes rule and has meticulously been doing it correctly for several seasons now. It is not an obscure or forgotten rule.

But not some rules even though they are posted on the same one page .. your argument holds weight ... lol

So meticulous on some rules .. but not others ... written on the same page ..

GOT IT!

You would endorse Russia invading Ukraine you ******* sell out ..
Sell out? I've always supported more punishments and harsher punishments.

The randomisation of penalties in a league based on a random sim is genius.

(In before bombers victim complex melt about the Sim).
