Are these still the same doctors who miss handled Brad Ebert a few years back?

Fencing response as an indicator of concussion.
That's why Jones was subbed out.

And aliir got about a 2 minute spell on the bench, then sent right back out and proceeded to defend Walker by standing 10m off him... I mean fair enough he's a racist but you still gotta stand near him..

Take your ******* one eyed goggles off and look at the replay. 2 players clashing heads at full speed and going limp. Jones has both hands up in the classic concussion pose. Have you never seen a concussion before?
Jones was subbed out. What's your boggle?

Look at the time that was posted you peanut.

Aliir coming back on immediately without a test is a red flag.

Jones being given until after half time break instead of being subbed immediately was weird. Boak was just sitting there not even warming up

I hate that this thread is a thing.

He would have absolutely done the preliminary tests for concussion and shown no effects. People who think that the club doctors would stake their careers on getting one player back on for a half a game with concussion symptoms are crazy.

Yeah because all doctors are infallible, by virtue of being doctors.

You don't see other clubs doing what we do. The same thing happened last year with a clash of heads in the last quarter against Richmond. We duct taped up their heads and sent them back out instantly cos we already used the sub.

Other clubs use the precautionary principle.

Why on earth would our club doctors do this? It’s their reputation on the line. They are the ones that have to make a call. It’s like the bump on Bailey smith earlier in the year. Did he go off with concussion? There have been plenty of other examples.

I seen it happen every single time Selwood was ever involved in a collision. Let alone others.

Other clubs do do it too

Selwood would cop hits and draw some blood over the eye because he's got a bunch of scar tissue and is a ducking campaigner. I can't recall him going limp too many times and being brought back on.

Aliir had no head impact assessment. The doc viewed the vision and said it wasnt necessary.

Sorry but thats dodgy as ****.

Maybe the doctor is a pisshead. Maybe he's "old school". Doctors make mistakes, they aren't infallible..ego can play a big part as well. Look at Charlie Teo
