You fail in finals when your coach puts it in players minds that finals are hard. He planted a seed and it constantly sprouts

McEntee Evans Narkle Mead Ratugolea would not make that Geelong side and were dreadfully exposed last night You can carry some of those players in minor round games but when the real heat is on they are nowhere near it.
As for Hinkley he has proven year after year he can’t get them up for finals and nothing will change until they make a change.

Carr has a lot of different ideas as to how the Club's footy department should be run. If he gets the job as expected, it will be a very good thing.

I'm not going to go into details, but one thing Carr wants to re-establish in the Club from a culture perspective is taking the sterility out of the footy department and foster an environment where the Club's coaches and players are embracing the history and high expectations that come with playing for the Port Adelaide Football Club.

We will be in fine hands with him running the show.

Why Would Ken want that pressure from our history. Hes never bought into it. Expectation.

Well it's about time the players stand up to Hinkley while he throws them under the bus again.
That is not a team doing it for the coach, the message is loud and clear.

I'm actually happy to blame the players for this loss too, as long as it doesn't mean Ken gets off Scott free as he always does.

The pathetic efforts from the players was deplorable. Ken needs to go but if any of those players think that means they are without fault for that effort than they can go to.

In all seriousness he's actually fighting a losing battle now. If Chris Davies wants to eff off to Collingwood then that means Ken will be losing one of his biggest sympathizers and could struggle to keep his job under new operations.
Kock could also leave for the AFL commission bs but that's only if they take him and his ego will still be a massive obstacle in moving Ken on.

Make no mistake though the cultural issues with this club go much deeper than just Ken, and some of them even predate Ken and have troubled us for years and years. There is a foul cultural stench still burning within the club, and while Ken is definitely one of the biggest culprits, we need to make more changes to the club off-field than just that.

Thank goodness Brisbane played their home Preliminary Final in Melbourne in 2004 because if they had played it at the Gabba (which is where it definitely should've been played), this club would have won absolutely nothing. Everyone at Brisbane says that decision cost them the Premiership that year and I certainly agree with them. This club is nothing but a bunch of pathetic chokers and nothing is ever going to change. I'm sick of it and Crows fans are absolutely loving it right now which makes it even worse.
