Why do people keep talking about waiting for a 'decision' to be made? There's no 'decision'. He's contracted. They won't make an announcement. They'll just do nothing.

I have changed my mind again I think he gets sacked probably after the b & f. He was definately pitching. The way I see it is that the club have decided that's it for Ken but they have tried to convince him to step down so it's seen as his call. Look at how caro is pleading for him to do that to. She knows ken is gone but he is stubborn he is challenging the club to sack him.
Again today I heard that Carr spoke to Richards from Collingwood over the phone. Like he did with lukosious Shouldn't it be the head coach doing this?

The Caro thing is interesting. Does she have inside info that while not a done deal, Daddy's job is very much in jeopardy?
Does Ken (rightfully) think the club lacks any balls to follow through and actually sack him after years bowing to his demands?

It's absolutely incredible that there's such a complete vacuum of journalistic accountability to call kerny out on the absolute nonsense he talks, let alone point out the obvious horrible finals record, "mission accomplished" vibe after the semi, etc etc etc.

It's just absolutely crazy.

Our next coach is going to get reamed with no lube by the paparazzi.

How much clearer can Chewy make it? There are multiple people in decision making positions at the club who are working to convince others to remove Hinkley as coach. There is no guarantee of that happening and Chewy has never provided any guarantee. But the fact that there is an actual push from within the club to sack him puts us closer than I would imagine we've ever been to getting the outcome we want.

And if you doubt Chewy's sources then I'm sorry to tell you but you are just plain wrong.
I’ve got one question that probably can’t be answered. Are these people in decision making positions wanting him out one of Koch or Richardson? Because if neither of those want him out then it’s going to take some sort of almighty shit hits the fan moment for a sacking. If Ken is sacked those two are gonna be the face of a sacking I would think and are gonna face some serious media scrutiny.

The jungle drums are beating at Alberton, and the natives are restless. Not satisfied with a top 2 home and away finish and a prelim final, the supporters wanted a scapegoat and they got one. Ken Hinkley, the man who came in with a whirlwind of energy and determination, and revilatised a club that was on the verge of folding after the calamitous seasons of 2011 and 2012.
With ruthless and some would say vindictive determination, the supporters hounded Kenny, plastering the streets and filling the airwaves with calls for his head. Untenable, was the call from Warren Tredrea, a man who is now a board member. Finally, they got their man. The mental toll on Ken and the rest of the Hinkley family must have been extreme. Tonight, on a special episode of AFL 360, we salute one of the great coaches of the modern era, Ken Hinkley.

Here's the way i see it. The club offered him a soft exit (ie, we'll make it look like you're going out on your terms). Hinkley has rejected this offer. If he'd accepted the offer, he'd have not gone on Adelaide radio and said the things he's said. Basically, he's thrown out the challenge....."i DARE you to sack me". He is aware of who he is dealing with, hence he knows they won't have the balls to do it.

What was the Caro thing?

I don't 'think' it, I know it. And as Chewy has said, he posts a tiny fraction of what he knows on this forum.
So we have a guy who obtains information freely from the inner sanctum which he shares continuously here and if as we’re led to believe, the club is constantly checking in on these threads and he’s still receiving information.

wtf

I think your spot on either way dare I say it it's untenable for Ken now if that is the case. The club don't want him so they will have no choice but to sack him. They need to follow through with there wishes for the head coach role they will need to grow a set
