We are going to go with co-coaches this year. It didn’t work with captains, but it surely will with coaches.
Dont think ken would go for co- coaches which is a good thing i guess as its a bad idea, although with Ken coaching from the bench alot of people will say its already happening.
The main outcome i want is for ken to be as far away from the club as possible come round 1 2026.
Chewy if he can be believed has already ruled out any director of coaching for ken so its likely that no ken in 2026 is a given
Cant guess what Chewy is concerned about re the upcoming shitshow im assuming going thru the season in a suuceesion plan phase which is publicly known must be it. As there is only positives with an end date for Ken

Carr with Chud Cornes
If Carr came to Port and Hinkley was let go at the same time I would be more confident of Carr getting us to a Premiership but now he's been in this "every body loves the coach bullshit system" I have doubts, not with his ability but to take us to the next step with bloody Chad Cornes still there and now Sutcliffe, it all just reeks the waters are too muddied imo.

I think we need substantial change in the box to get the best out of Carr.

It’s pretty obvious we’ve had a very basic coaching structure lately and must be right down the bottom of expenditure in this area.

You only have to look back on the names of assistants that have left and the replacements or lack thereof.

Not sure the reason for it other than saving money just so those in charge can at least hang their hats on making profits. Or hopefully they are clearing the decks and saving money to put some quality assistants around Carr.

Running the coaching programme off the smell of an oily rag seems pretty odd when you consider we are actually meant to be in our window. You’d think that would be the time you went the opposite way and invested heavily.

Regardless of who the head coach is out of Carr or Hinkley the assistants underneath lack both depth and quality.

Like when our current captain of the time dropped this pearler.

There's no Travis Boak in that image.
Do people not remember how questions were raised about whether Ollie Wines would still be announced as Captain after the water skiing incident?

This occured before the announcement of Wines and Jonas as co-captains.

As well as the head coach, chairman, GM, most of the board

I don't like

  • The Guernsey

  • The sponsors' logos
  • The nickname
  • The song
  • The other song
  • The other other song
  • The Instagram page
  • Half the forward line
I know it's easy to do but you've forgotten about Richardson. Weak as piss.

There's no good outcome in terms of onfield if they announce a succession plan, the players will play like they are in a waiting pattern.

That's better than our normal September efforts of playing like they're still in the changerooms

Is it a daddy role?
He's gonna be appointed as Ambassador for Supporter Engagement at $1.5M p.a. while Jordy gets a couple of hundred grand salary bump to recognise his greater experience in video editing and IT skills and Donna gets a free car, first class air travel and a generous expense account to be somewhere else when Kochie's in town.
