I decided to take off for a bit of an unplanned road trip today. Ended up in a woodcutters pub in the hills behind Gippsland. It was a proper old school country pub. Carlton on tap and if you wanted something a bit more crafty they had Great Northern. Asked what wine they had...red and white. Didn't even have a top shelf line of spirits. Minimalist..... apart from the stuffed deers and photos of the owners wife with them dead to prove that they hadn't just found them on marketplace...and 100 years of historic tree mauling devices. I was getting ready run incase they'd seen my lesbian mobile out the front and decided to lynch us.

I was okay because I know to talk 3 octaves lower than usual and walk like my balls were chafed, my son was being a little bitch though and nearly got us bashed. He was whining about the food loudly because they used a horrible mayo dressing out of a bottle like some great affront had been thrust upon him. You don't do that in a place where people leave their .22s in the back of the ute while they have a few beers.

My mate caught a 34kg long tail tuna about two weeks ago, from land, no boat required. Just goes to show, there are people out there who catch big fish, unfortunately I don't seem to be one of them.

And yes, the sashimi was superb!

Hmmmm, you've inspired a trip outside into the godforsaken general public. Might just have to grab a nice bot and maybe a quality rib fillet and some nice mushrooms for a Sunday night celebration of today's Saints victory. Might even roast some f*ckin' parsnips. A crisp, well dressed salad and all will be good to go mofos.

A smooth peppery Shiraz or something sounds like just the ticket!

P.S. Please don't ruin my dreamy dinner plan Saints.

After enjoying the Aldi toffee ale, I bought a few bottles of coffee stout last night, and it was even better. Lovely and smooth with a good coffee taste and a hint of vanilla. A bargain at £1.60 for a pint bottle. I will definitely buy more if in stock.
