For me it is enjoying shutting the sanctimonious ******* mouths of the worst the west Pakenham scats fans.

No west pakenham scats did not invent attacking football, no you are not a "regional" team or place.

Geelong without father and son, cotton on, dodgy land deals, dodgy leadership deals, not giving a shit about the cap and having the sportsbet scumps on their side is nothing.

They are house kittens in world of beasts.

At least , back in the day, Bomber Thompson would never be one to be involved with illegal substances.

What a turnaround in effort from last week. The senior players really stood up - Macrao, Steele, Sinclair, Marshall, Wilkie, Higgins, Jones, Wood all excellent.

This should be the level that Windy sets and maintains moving forward. He showed more of the flair and attacking intent that he had in his first season.

Caminiti looks like a far better defender than a forward and should be allowed to settle there for the rest of the season. The game is simpler form him as a defender and he's got the athletic traits.

Stocker was rock solid before the concussion. Not sure what happened to Clark but he could barely move when he was in the ground.

Nas is the one we should be offering 1.5 mil for 7 years.

The really inexperienced kids in Collard, Keeler and O'Connell realistically aren't at the level yet but they all had great moments. Will be interesting to see if they are picked next week. Hall also struggled to get involved.

Owens is a beast and works brilliantly with Higgins. He looks to have some zip back that was missing last year.

Hill was slightly improved on last week but still needs to lift. Byrnes let his opponent almost win the game for them in the last quarter.

Overall, credit to the group for coming out and giving maximum effort after giving minimal effort in the last two showings. They absolutely ran out of gas but showed grit to hang on. Marshall seemed to need more of a rest than usual and we really struggled in those patches - I wonder if it's worth having a look at Heath who is a bit more physically developed than Keeler and more of a threat up forward than Boyd.

Thrilled for Lancey Boy, I think this gives him a good base to build from now, may not have gotten much of it but he looked engaged and no doubt the two goals help as well.
I really hope this gives him the platform to do some special things for us.

I would've liked to see him get mobbed a bit harder, the boys seemed to get around Keeler a lot more when he kicked his first. Lance deserves the recognition if he's put in the work to get into the team and gotten his head into the right space.

Higgins seemed to be looking for him as well. Both his goals were from Higgins passes (iirc). Other games he's blazed away in similar positions

Spot on, I reckon Owens has been putting some work into sprints/ explosiveness....that could turn him into a seriously damaging player.

I loved that just about every player had a big moment.
O’Connell’s mark.
Collard’s goals.
Keeler’s goal
Webster”s double effort
Brad Hill TOOK A CONTESTED MARK!

And well done Kingy for winning nearest the pin.

Macrae has been great from the get go.
Sinclair was midfield a lot last week, and he's far more effective in defense.
Steele made some errors last week, but as usual does more than most others.
Marshall , underdone and a forward last week was ineffective. I felt he struggled to run it out this week, but even a fatigued Marshall is pretty good.
Wood was also underdone last week, back to his good self this week.
Clark looked to be doing some good stuff early on, but overall he was very average.

I agree with most of your comments.
I was worried as hell that Collard wouldn't make it , but seeing him play tonight , he has all the right instincts.

Every single player in that 23 contributed to that awesome win.

That was unreal.

Just so pleased for the club tonight.

So many things I loved and things I hope we find consistency to deliver weekly.

That mark from Irish late on was ballsy.

Everyone knows the stars of the night.

But I think we found one in Hall. There are good AFL level players in both Keeler and Collard. It’s up to them now.

Caminiti immense in that last quarter. If Zac Dawson can make it as a full back in 3 grand final sides then I look forward to the journey Caminiti will go on.

Being at the ground and seeing the cats up close. Can I just say they are very good at two things I think we could learn from.

1. There ability to generate speed on the ball and significant forward momentum from a stopped possession was very very good. Ripped us apart on a few occasions when we looked set behind the ball

And

2. Their ability to keep the ball alive and going forward when under immense pressure and then somehow getting it to players like Miers who hit a target.

Higgins seemed to be looking for him as well. Both his goals were from Higgins passes (iirc). Other games he's blazed away in similar positions
If Collard comes on, I'd like to think they'd be playing together for the best part of the next decade. Probably not a bad idea to form a strong bon/ partnership with your partner in crime. Those two could be genuine menaces in the forwardline.

I'd love to have a forwardline where every player is a tough matchup and a chance to rip a game open, kinda like the Lions. If Lance can keep at it and build his confidence and his physicality, I have no doubt he'll be a gamechanger for us.

Last week we had too many lay down sally passengers, tonight everyone dipped an oar into the water to power the boat forward.

Our usual reliable players stepped up for us like Marshall, Sinclair, NWM, Steele and Wilkie and now we can add Macrae to them.

Good to see some other players step up tonight like Windhager, Owens, Higgins, Caminiti and that bald bloke Jones went alright.

Can't beat a win against the Cats and their smug prick fans.

Great effort all night. I cant believe the dogs let Macrae go. So many contributors. Stockers tackle was symbolic of the effort.

Young guys impressed. Keeler needs to get stronger, pushed out of the way to easily, but I would persist with him.

Looking forward to the replay!

The last 10 minutes went forever.
Myself, the players and all the Saints reserve on level 1 were holding on for dear life. Serious dramatics.
I'm very proud of our effort tonight. Lots of kids played out of their skin to get us home.
How good is my boy Windy!
And oh my gosh young Owens is back! What a herculean effort. He's a star.
Hope to can find my voice before Richmond.
Go the mighty Saints!

Thought we were just desperate last 4.20 minutes. Everyone behind the ball, nobody scores a goal against a RL coached defence
The O'Connell mark, the Keeler mark, the absolute desperation to defend the lead.
