Its actually more like a downgrade of picks 30 to 42, 50 to 61.Meh, the future second pick is a massive win for Melbourne, given how I expect Hawks to finish bottom 6 in 2020

Chances are we trade our first next year and split it for points for a Downie bid. It's not like the top talent is rated that high next year.Good trade for the Hawks. gets them more points this year for the Finn bid that is to come.
One concern however is that they have Downie coming next year so will need to trade back into that second round for him I would think.
Draft is heavily compromised next season. A mid 2nd round might effectively be a 3rd round pickSo basically they got Frost for a 2020 2nd round pick.
Reckon Hawthorn paid overs.
My sister is a Melbourne supporter and is glad to see the back of him. Take that as you will. Why we need a key defender.
Genuinely curious mate, why do you think we drop off so dramatically?
I am confident we will turn him into a better player than he was at Melbourne. My sister is a Melbourne supporter and is glad to see the back of him. Take that as you will.
Thats an odd move by the Dees.
Haha nah I mean he's no world beater but it means they now play Oscar Macdonald or have to when Lever or May eventually get injured. Points wise it works out to be pick 60 even if Melbourne move up the ladder.trading out their speediest midfielder?
I can see several teams (including my mob) leapfrogging the Hawks next year, just think the Equalization cycle is about to kick in for Hawthorn.
Inevitably you will blood more kids next year (I assume) and I think it will be a development year for the Hawks (whIch is actually a good thing)

Nice troll. Bookmarked for next Wednesday.Expectation: Coniglio
Reality: Frost
On a sillier note.
Can't wait to see Sicily bullet a pin point perfect pass to break the zone/press to Frost who turns, runs his full 15 dodging two opposing dedenders before...
Kicking it out on the full.
Gotta say, I'm pretty happy with Hawthorn filling there list with mediocre journeymen with dubious disposal, or dubious knees.
No doubt the media will fluff them all summer about how their genius coach will get them back to their rightful position in the top 4 in no time flat. Personally I'm pretty sceptical. To me their list is middling at best with not a lot of young talent apart from the Worpedo.
