on a somewhat related note, tonights AFL show On the Mark has a special guest - Adam Saad. Is it really necessary to push this political issue even more this week? Would Saad and Houli even give a crap if the media didnt bang on about it and invite them on to every media possible?

What right does Sam Newman think he has to air his honest opinions?

At some point, these people with wrongthink opinions will understand that their right to express their opinions does not carry over into topics which hurt the feelings of oppressed people.

And in case you don't know, oppressed people is basically anybody other than a white male. Which is exactly what Sam is.
so white males arent allowed to discuss these topics? Would sort of racist shit is that? How do you suppose these topics are discussed in politics when the majority of people in parliament are white males?

Do you honestly think I spend my time going through all of the responses I get daily on bigfooty.com? I get something like 150 responses a day! I am a freaking legend in this joint!

As for the Hun comment, nothing I have stated changes whatsoever on the basis that the proposal was deemed to be true at the time. The fact it may not have been doesn't mean my views would be any different, and only an inept assclown would try to paint this as an exercise in one upmanship. This is another cheap stunt that SJW's tend to run with.

“There are 600,000 Muslims in Australia, they share no common interest with what we’re on about,” Newman said.

Yet I am sure the many Muslims that barrack for Essendon share a common interest with me in supporting a great club.

Unlike religion, being male isn't a choice and neither does it involve a codified set of rigid rules that determine behaviour.

Islam does. Judaism does. Christianity does. Hinduism does. If the rules of your religion
affect non-adherents then expect said religion to come under scrutiny, particularly when it's
followers are in the vast minority.
So, how are you affected by the tenets of the Muslim faith?

Classic Big footy

On the Waleed thread, fyck him he's a Muslim, WTF are the AFL asking him on the state of the game. Whilst here Newman's a pig and everything Muslim is great.
Bipolar opinions.

Y’knw. Your onto something. A syndrome of jealousy against successful people. Perhaps we need a cute three word descriptor.

Xxxx xxxxx syndrome

I do? That's news to me. I actually despise religion and all it's followers. I just look at it rationally and acknowledge the reality of the situation.

Yeah righto. The Yemeni situation is the same old "my enemy's enemy is my friend" thing. A civil war, with Iran funding the insurgents. It's a cluster****, but not of our design.

Just think of all the money we could've saved for the small price of allowing this to happen.

Grand final terrorist plot
So nothing happened. Some idiot planned something stupid 20 years ago & was stopped by standard fed police work.

Every year a bunch of people die from vending machines falling on them. Just think of all the money we've saved not deporting all the vending machines. Somebody think of the children

Out of interest is Geelong a safe Liberal seat because I have noticed that a lot of Geelong supporters are really right wing?

Nup, most of Geelong is in the safe ALP seat of Corio, some of it is in Corrangamitte. There are four state seats covering Geelong and the surrounding area with three of them held by the ALP. Geelong itself is more marginal than the Lara area to the north of Geelong which is pretty much solid ALP.

Pretty sure that's a "fake news" statistic that has gained traction because it's the kind of thing nobody questions. As in "more chance of being killed by a vending machine than a shark".

You're wrong, but ok. Drawing a straight line from the state of the middle east today and western imperialism and foreign policy going all the way back to ww2 is actually incredibly simple and straight forward. Simply put, It's all the West's and the Soviet Union's fault. Literally. All of it. This is not an exaggeration.
Honestly one of the dumbest posts I have ever read on bigfooty, and that's saying something.

Youre just going to casually ignore all the modern conflicts post 1900 and the effect that had on the region prior to WW2?? How about WW1 and the role the Ottoman Empire played in that? The Iraqi-Kurdish conflict (which layed the bedrock for the Iraqi war, the West is largely blamed for) started in 1919? Gonna gloss over that? Do I need to continue listing conflicts that helped bring down the region before WW2?

You're just wrong mate. Flat out wrong to try and blame the entire destabilization of the Middle East on WW2.
