IIRC Warnie got a million for Imma Celeb?

What would Cousins get do you think, maybe 400k? I doubt it'd be as high in the millions.
Apparently Michael Clarke was set to earn $750K for appearing in S3 of SAS Australia (Celebrity):

Sam Burgess was reportedly paid $150-200K. I'd expect Cousins to be paid less than that, given that the events giving rise to his notoriety are now a decade in the rear view mirror. My guess (for Cousins) would be $100-150K.

There's a whole world of difference in the level of celebrity between Warne & Cousins. It wouldn't be the least surprising if Warne's salary had an extra zero, compared to Cousins', should they ever go on the show.

I was surprised Shane Warne went on that I'm A Celebrity show so he must have been getting paid a shitload to make it worthwhile for him.

It's not like he would be desperate for money as he would still earn a lot from his commentary gigs and all the ads that he does.

I defs read it somewhere, not sure if it was ever confirmed or just one of those rumours that became fact.
It's easily believable, given that Michael Clarke was offered $750K for SAS Australia. Warne's celebrity status >>>>>>> Clarke's.

Warne is also well known in Britain - they probably could have made the money they paid him back by selling the show there.
I have a mate over there- ive been surprised at some of the Aussie crap they get. Shes watched past series of Big brother.. they know Mafs etc.. they love us.

They have the aussie expert for their season of MAFS dont they? It looks like a proper trainwreck too

Gee, I’m late to the show but it’s hooked me straight away. A shame Cornish went home because I thought she was good value and I’m a big Puberty Blues fan.

Stupid question, but is there a winner or do the recruits who tough it out to the end/are deemed worthy get SAS qualifications or something?

Not a stupid question at all. I believe its really just bragging rights if they make the grade. Could be wrong tho.

You need to check out the first season of the UK version where they recruit 50 normal plebs (no celebs) to undertake the selection process. That season seemed more authentic then the celebrity version. Brutal as hell.

No prize. From memory last year 4 were left at the end and 3 were told they’d “passed” and 1 was failed (James Magnussen).
Correct 👍🏽
