Yeh but it doesnt. At all.

You still went to the effort to post it twice so it clearly meant something to you.

Yeah, because it's the first time a reputable media source has come out and said "this is a narrative being crafted by hypocritical cabal of female journos at outlets like the ABC and the Guardian".

Just like last February. Australian far-left media going crazy about bushfires and Celeste Barber (who?). Missed Covid in comparison.

Same now. Australian far-left media going crazy about Higgins (someone that hasn't reported a crime to Police). Missed Covid vaccine bungle in comparison.

Not really, you can only have one banner headline at a time.

The fact Scomo has bungled so many things so badly that they cant catch them all is not a win for you and your team.

As has been pointed out to you a number of times, if he was doing his job he would have

- been briefed

or

- holding those who didnt brief him accountable

Right now hes somehow managing to admit neither of those things. There is no other outcome, if he knew he did nothing to handle it, if he didnt hes done nothing to recitfy that.

OK. So he might have told his Chief of Staff to tell him about this sort of issue next time.

Next. Finished. What's the problem?

Even the nsw state liberal party has had enough of this incompetence

They're milking it a tad.

They were happy to shit on other states up until today

I don't have a team. I despise the far-left and the way it uses the media for its own activism, though.

This is completely wrong, Higgins met with the AFP after the alleged rape was committed.

And what did she tell them about it?

Is this the "cover up"?

You and others do know that I use the term far-left, mockingly, as for years we had everything and everyone expressing normal, centre or centre-right opinions being labelled as "far-right", yeah?
And there it is.

Pissed around it like a soft-on for over a year but we finally go you to feel manly enough to spit it out.
Good on you little man

Yeah, because it's the first time a reputable media source has come out and said "this is a narrative being crafted by hypocritical cabal of female journos at outlets like the ABC and the Guardian".

Where does it do that?

Ive quoted a few things in here

She broke and led coverage of Brittany Higgins’ claim of rape in a minister’s office, and the young adviser’s feelings of being abandoned by a government she served.

Maiden may have done more than any other individual, journalist or otherwise, to define the Morrison government as indifferent to sexual harassment, assault and rape.

Maiden was probably the most influential, and restrained. Based on copious facts, rather than opinion, her copy was devastating. At every step, as the government tried to staunch the stories, it seemed Maiden was there with a new angle to propel them along.

The Porter allegations were broken by Louise Milligan on the ABC, but Maiden, who attended the same school as the alleged victim, followed up with important information and developments.

Clearly there is an anti Sam narrative here but mostly the article talks about a difficult and "prickly" journo doing her job?

Even the headline

Anger at the government over the abuse of women is being led by a powerful group of female journalists.

Cool... Im sure they are angry...

... Seriously. With something as serious as a rape claim, you reckon thats sufficient.

They didnt forget to renew their HUN subscription mate.

Scott Morrison should allow the journos and political class to go crazy on this issue, and frustrate them by focusing on other matters. It will soon turn off most normal Australians. The far left gets like this before every election, not realising their moral high-horse routine is such an ugly put-off for most normal Australians.
Most normal asutralians? Who do you think this is?

Do you really think most normal aussies (50% of whom are women) dont care about the Higgins and Porter claims because the media is pursuing the story?

I ask this seriously, WTF is wrong with you mate.

Look, we are obviously going to disagree on this issue.

You all think Morrison should be prosecuted for someone else's alleged rape.

I think the perpetrator should be punished for his rape. And that starts with a Police complaint. Not a media narrative.

Simple as that.

No one is suggesting he be prosecuted for her rape.

Most of us are suggesting he be held accountable for the professional conduct of his staff on a number of issues, that is, after all, his job.

Noting if hed done literally anything to fix the issues, he wouldnt be here.

Right - the professional conduct being his Minister, Reynolds, actually speaking to Police about it.

Are you telling me, SERIOUSLY, that this whole outrage narrative in the media for WEEKS on end...is about his Chief of Staff not passing on information? Seriously?

Most Australians don't even know what a Chief of Staff is.

No im not, you want to drill this down to make it less and make the outrage more.

Scomo has got a number of issues within his staff right now.

- Higgins claims (and the truly awful handling)
- Porters historical claims
- Jerking off on a desk
- McQueens comments
- Reynolds further comments

and he has done absolutely nothing to address them. Those claims (plus alot of other things he has said and done) have equated to a serious issue his administration has with women and so far, his only action was a presser to talk about his wife, his mum and his daughters.

Currently no one in his administration has been held to account for their actions or behaviours. The desk masturbator has stood down and was STILL defended.

Scott Morrison is attracting heat because he is male, white and straight, and people are projecting their Outrage! on him for all manner of things.

He's in a difficult spot politically. Needs to ignore the media narrative, as he successfully did in April/May 2019 and do his own thing.

Yeh because historically white, straight men have had it rough, especially in politics.

Hes making some interesting points / analysis (in unconventional language) - why not address instead of dismissing them?

... go back and check the last 5 pages mate, ive been directly conversing
