Season 2013 Bendigo FL

Interesting Season ahead again in the BFL- Hard to put a finger on who sits where, Timmy Martin and Benny Anderson will help our big man stocks a fair touch I'd say we need a top 3 finish to call the season a success I would have thought after last year.

Castlemaine seem up and about internally that they are on the up. Big turn over but seem to confident that they can play finals. What have Maryborough done?

Noticed the other day the Dahl brothers are leaving K Flat. Now walklate brothers and davies as well.
This is a lot for a club that played some good footy last year. Can't see them pushing into the top 5 this year?

G/square - Gissy - sandurst - strath - south - eagle hawk.
Maryborough - k/ flat - castlemaine. Can anyone see one of these theee clubs making the 5 ?

Was that the opinion that the standard of the league will half with one player leaving? Quality opinion.

Add to that it will be a massive fight for the top 5 this season - major improvement in Eaglehawk and all the 2012 top 5 teams recruiting quality players.

Im not getting a great vibe from a Castlemaine perspective. The only chance of a side coming in from outside the 5 from last year is obviously Eaglehawk. At expense of South Bendigo??

Am hearing there is a signifcant player coming to Square. 100+ AFL games.

I'd imagine South Bendigo will be pretty handy this year. They are getting a few quality players from Darwin that are relocating to Bendigo for the season. Justin Wilson should add some tenacity to the midfield.

Barnard and Salmon don't play and Shotgun Williams is signed in the CHFL with Ballan and Jacobs plays in the SFL.

Your obviously thinking Williams because he is a forward and would be a replacement for weeks, I think Ladson and Jacobs lived together early days at Hawthorn. Would be a handy get for Square at either end of the ground.
