With the way the Div 3 Grand Final panned out, as well as last year's Div 2 epic, this one has a lot to live up to.

Fitzroy Stars Vs Whittlesea - I wrote the preview article for the game, and I'm very happy to have done so because I'm really looking forward to this one. Having said that, after the Div 3 decider last week (watch it - it was a real cracker), and last year's Div 2 decider this one has a hell of a lot to live up to. I think there's the real potential of another shootout and with the experience of playing the Preston ground early on in the year I think it can help get the Stars over the line for a historic premiership.

Wasn't good TA and I thought Mungara Browns red card was ordinary as well. Well done to the stars for how they continued on but credit where credits due, Whittlesea were the more structured and accomplished when it mattered. Well done to Pete Bugden on another win as coach as well! Is it true that Pete handed in his resignation weeks ago and will be moving on?

what game were u watching? wasnt behind play, wasnt a king hit, it was a high bump and thdn his head hit the ground which didnt help. Force to kill? please, dont make shit worse by exaggerating the incident! Jacko is as genuine a bloke as you can get and I hope that he is able to recover from this. Feel for him and his family.
As for the incident itself, replays are suggesting Harro got him with the elbow (I was at the Stars forward pocket when it happened). Won't judge until I see it myself.

Think it would be from watching footage from the video camera that was there filming the game. Which will then go up on the NFL site within a couple of days.

Not straight away. Police escorted him into the changerooms about half way through the first quarter (about 40 minutes after the bump) and I didn't see him again.
I spoke to a NFL official who said the police waited till qtr time when most people would have filtered out onto ground before then escorting him away. I thought Peter Bugden handled himself well when stars supporters were heckling at presentation. He was firm and fair in his comments and paid respect to the stars players for there season, despite some abuse and anger still emanating from the Proctor incident.
Must Agree here, never met him but our former President has and spoken to him a few times, he reckons he is a very solid citizen and good fella. Hope he recovers well and gets another opportunity.
What's going on at Epping Stude? One minute Super has gone and on his way to Heidelberg, next he's back asking for 2 year deal! Last I heard is that Mario has gone, there are 3 coaches all which have the job already, none Dyson. $40,000 Power bill less the Cricket clubs %.
Truth is nothing will happen until after the AGM when the committee is voted in as they appoint the coach for 2014.
