Shaun was a legend, if he and Mitch had good hamstrings they would have played enough consistent cricket to lock down a place.
You only have to look at Shaun's first class record to see that, Mitch look he's probably a short form specialist but injuries hurt him dearly.

Ok. I feel like it was about 15 years ago when he was getting more chances than the Marsh bros. If I had the unmitigated support to the level of Watson, I reckon most of us here could have become test cricketers. No one personifies the demise of Australian cricket more. Since he showed up, over and over again, we’ve seen more strange selections than Eastside Phoenix name changes
